Seems other reviews mentioned you could not see into the zippered accessory compartments, if that was the case it is no longer as I can distinguish items just fine. Mystery Ranch probably listened to customers and fixed it. Perfect dimensions for the strictest of airlines "personal item" parameters. Only thing I would like to see different is a water bottle holder built in as I feel most purchasers of this pack would be carrying a reservoir of some sort as I did. If this was present then it would have been 5 stars.

Storage and organization were great for me and it is a perfect size. I bought with the intention of carrying it around city or no hospitable environment for a roller. It succeeds well enough but could have longer back back straps so that the cushion part doesn't run out in pec armpit area and it could use slightly more padding but it was terrible even fully loaded.

I love the material. Very well made and looks to be very durable. Would be nice to be able to remove shoulder and waist straps for weight and room when needed. Strap for the messenger style carry need a pad as the bag loaded gets pretty heavy. Compartments are roomy and I like the media pocket in the front. Didn't quite fit in an overhead on a small commuter plane since I had shoes. Fit with a lot of extra room on a larger size plane. Solid purchase and will use it for years to come!

Great for an extra bag when needed for travel. I will emphatically write that rare should the exception be that a backpack doesn't include a holder on its side for a water bottle. That's my biggest negative. Otherwise, a great bag.

As a daily bike commuter, this has turned out to be my go to pack. Fits great on my front rack, it's easy to carry, and I can get at rain gear and essentials thanks to the abundant zippered access. The only reason this didn't get 5 stars is because it's slightly large for my purposes. I would have preferred the pack with slightly smaller dimensions.

Please make the laptop compartment out of some other material, spandex or whatever yoga pants are made of. I got the bag for buissness and travel needs and although I love the compartments I still need to bring another bag for the office gear. Please Fix.

The shoulder straps are too chort. I am 6'0" and the padded portion of the shoulder straps barely get over my shoulder. So the buckle part just digs into my shoulder. This is regardless of how tight the load lift straps are. I used the bag for the first time this past week on a trip, with the bag loaded for the first time. After 5-10 minutes with the bag on my shoulders, I realized this bag was defective. The straps need another 6 inches in length to work with taller people or people with musculature. The design of the bag otherwise is great. Love the clamshell design and the compartments and the material and quality of the stitch-work. Why go to all this trouble designing a great bag and screw up the shoulder straps?
