This pack looks so good, 2 of my friends bought one after seeing mine for the first time. The mission rover pack is set up just right to carry my business and personal gear when traveling.

Bought to use for multi-day buisness trips. 45L bag was advertised as largest carry on size and it fits perfectly in overhead bins when loaded out. It's a tight fit in the smaller jets like the CRJ but it works.

Old travel backpack was actually falling apart at the seams after decades of service as a carry on and as an improvised backpacking pack. To upgrade the backpacking and hauling I decided to go with Mystery Ranch because...... well they're Mystery Ranch. We have been using them so long for their tremendous packs that some of them even say Dana Designs. After some research I landed on the Rover so it would be the right size, After one week long trip, I couldn't be happier. The Zoid cubes fit perfectly, and I have never been more organized. I love everything about the bag! OK I would have preferred the brown color, but it was sold out because everyone else felt the same way.

I got my Mission Rover about two weeks ago and have used it twice. The first trip was by car - I was gone for six days - the Mission Rover handled all of my clothes with no issue. The design allowed me to keep a second pair of shoes and even my dirty laundry separated from my clean clothes. The second trip was only for three days, and I went by aircraft. The Mission Rover fit in the overhead compartment without issue and held everything I needed. I couldn't be happier with the pack.

I was looking for a high quality bag of the perfect size for a carry-on that would easily hold everything I needed for at least a week. This definitely delivered.I recently was on a week-long trip for the first time with the bag and it performed nicely. The material and zippers are of high quality. Paired with some packing cubes I was able to get everything I needed into this bag neatly along with two laptops and an extra set of shoe. Importantly, I was able to easily fit it into the overhead bin on the airplane. However, only addition I wish it had was compression straps so I could've reduced it's profile a bit more in the case it was one of the smaller airplanes with smaller overhead bins.

Very thoughtful features and the perfect size for a weekend carry on bag. Good quality as well. This is my second one of these, with the other being the largest size.

Recently bought this bag for a carry-on in a ride to Europe
While I wish there were outside attachment options, this bag provided plenty of separation in nice easily divided compartments.
The 30L is a perfect carry on and I can easily fit 2-3 pairs of shoes in the separate compartment.
The laptop area is amazing and provides an easy location to access a computer (including larger size ones) on longer flights.
My partner saw my bag and now wants one!
I previously used a north face duffel bag but noticed the Mystery Ranch one provided a world of difference including with dividers and having a similar (if not the same) amount of space

I travel from the States to the Middle East very often and have been looking for something tough yet looks super cool and comfortable, BINGO! The more you use it the cooler looking it gets! It goes under the seat like nothing and on a C130 plane, I used it as a pillow without any discomfort because no external pockets! I will be buying more of it. They really perfected this one!
Excellent quality and super functional!

I bought for a weekend trip to NYC and it had plenty of room. I ended up walking 14 blocks from the train station to my hotel. Was so glad I had a backpack rather than a wheeled suitcase.

I just returned from a six day trip to one of the most remote ghost towns in the world, Anyox, BC, Canada. It took three flights to get there, including two "puddle jumpers." Due to the number of layovers and little time between them, I needed to pack all of my gear into a bag that I could carry on instead of checking in.
I did a lot of research and narrowed it down to this bag and one from a different manufacturer. There are many great reviews for this one, but the few that were "ok" or worse had me second guessing - especially ones that mentioned there being no "structure" to the bag. I'm assuming the reference to the lack of structure is that there are no solid/firm edges so the bag is "floppy," but that's part of what makes it so great.
I fit six days of clothes, snacks, gear, and electronics into this bag, all without "structure," and that is what helped me place it into overhead compartments just perfectly, even in small prop planes. This bag held it all. I used some packing cubes which increased the organization and I love the design and accessibility.
The straps are more than efficient and comfortable and I like how they can be stowed inside the back of the bag and the added shoulder strap can be used for over the shoulder carry, or simply by one the handles. This bag is exactly what I was looking for and I'm glad I didn't allow any of the mediocre or bad reviews to dissuade my purchase. I look forward to many adventures with this bag.

I work Wildland fire and this pack is perfect for bringing into a hotel on RON or keeping with me during pre positioning assignments instead of having to drag my entire red bag around with me. It have a large amount of space and helps me keep everything super organized. I absolutely love this pack 10/10 recommend.

I bought this a month ago, and I am very pleased with the design, construction and overall look of the bag. I have the MR - 30 and use it primarily for all the gear I need for an office job. Normally pack a 15inch laptop, external monitor, various power cords and I still have plenty of room for clothes should I need to travel. Additionally, the extra carry handles make it easier to lug arounds.

I'm a firefighter and bought this for work. I wanted a bag that I could use for my regular 48 hour shifts as well as an Out of County bag for 14 day assignments. This bag does it. The various compartments make organizing simple and effective. Great quality construction. Would absolutely recommend.

I bought this bag about a month ago and I needed it for a spur of the moment trip back home to go to a funeral. It has a ton of storage space. It can be carried as a duffel or as a backpack. I have used it as a backpack for flying purposes and it works great. You can really fill this bag up with a ton of stuff. I was able to fit 5 days worth of clothes, and funeral attire all in this one bag. I would highly recommend this bag and can't wait to use it more.

I bought this bag to replace the duffle bag I have used for traveling and it has been great. I like the backpack design and it sits well on your body. It's an unusual feature to praise but when you have to run through an airport or like taking the stairs instead of the escalator you will appreciate this. The bag I have is the 45L and has plenty of room for 4-6 days of clothing and I mean 4-6 of winter clothing too (sweatshirts, pants, and jackets). I was hesitant to buy this at this price considering all the other options there are but thought this bag would be of higher quality and it is. The best part of the bag is where you need it most: the zippers. They use big, strong zippers so good they could seal a volcano.
The only recommendation I have is to add at water bottle pouch.

I love the bag as I have two smaller liter old versions. This style is nice with the new access panel but I'd rather 1000d. Let's see how the this material holds up.
