I liked the style of the New Balance 574, but they just don't offer enough support for my foot. I have developed plantar fasciitis in one foot after an ankle injury and need a deeper heel cup with more arch support as well. Going to stick with my New Balance 1080--they always fit.

I'm typically a size 7, but had to size up to a 7.5. They were too tight in the toe area but now they seem a little loose in the heel area. Definitely needed to size up.

Bought these to go on a trip where I'd be doing a lot of walking, ultimately my normal size in Nike was too small for NB and they shoes didn't have as much cushion and I was expecting them to. Returned.

Good looking shoe, but the are really tight. I ordered my normal size for walking/jogging. 8 but either needed a wide or 8.5.

New Balance used to make their shoes with a wide toe box. Not anymore! Very disappointing. Don't understand why shoe companies construct their shoes in such a way that the big toe gets forced at an oblique, uncomfortable angle!

Felt like these would have wrecked my knees in short order as they really forced my feet to roll inward. Awkward fit. Zero arch support. Going back. I have other casual styles of NB in the same price range that don't do this.

The toe box is so narrow I ended up with an injury in my big toe for months now. Did not expect any New Balance shoe to have such a narrow toe box especially because it appears wide from the outside.

These have an odd fit in the toe area. Maybe a half size larger would have been better, but the toe area was still strange. Returned.

if you no longer offer a B width i can no longer but your sneakers. why do you think everyones feet are the same? they are not and i get tired of sneakers sliding up and down on my heel due to far too much room.

I have a few pairs of New Balance (all size 5.5) and love the way they grip/support my feet. I was looking for a more casual-style walking shoe and was excited to try these. I ordered my normal size (5.5) and was bummed that my toe was rubbing against the front of the shoe. I returned and went up to size 6. To my dissapointment, my heel lifted out of the back of the shoe when I walked. After 100 test laps around my house, I am confident that this is a sizing issue and not just a style that I'm just not used to with New Balance sneakers. The look is great, however I will sadly be returning as I can't find a size that fits my foot properly.

They're cute and comfortable enough, but they're too loose around the heel. They just don't feel stable for me. Unfortunately, I may need to return them soon.

The size aren't standardized. I wear shoes size 7.5 or 8 but they were too tight for me. My mom wears shoes size 6.5 and they were a perfect fit for her. Be aware to size up before your purchase.

I only wear NB shoes. This shoe in a wide was much more narrow and the heel did not sit as deeply as my other pairs.
Would not recommend with an orthotic insert.
