These are my first pair of NB Classics and I have to say its comfort is severely underwhelming. Vans Comfycush provides better cushioning. The build quality is also inconsistent. The footbed on the right shoe is smaller than on the left. The upper material isn’t as breathable as well which is a huge setback in the warm climate I live in. 2/5 stars. I like the retro style but would not purchase again.

I tried these on in a store and the 9 1/2 was a little snug so I ordered the 10 from Zappos. The 10 was huge. Had to return them.

It was completely different from the last New Balance Classics order that I placed. Both shoes are made in Indonesia but this last order was more like a size 6 vs size 6.5 and was a little less in terms of quality. It also looked like someone had possibly worn them for a bit. Not sure but something was different for the same type of shoe.

I have purchased New Balance shoes for almost 4 decades and these are the first I am returning. The collar on the left side of the left shoe rubs my lower ankle and is uncomfortable while exercising.

Great shoe but felt too big

The heel is too narrow and caused me to roll my ankle multiple times.

Hurty my feet to small to narrow

Greatly disappointed since not comfortable at all compared to previously owned 574s and run a whole size smaller. Beware look great like the classics, but lack everything else. Won’t be buying NB again, since my feet hurt after wearing 4 hours.

These shoes are more of faded black than the picture shows. No grudges

Tongue was folded over in manufacturing defect and inserts were too large for the shoe. Poor quality product.

Not true to size, smaller and narrower than other shoes of the same size and width. I cannot recommend this shoe unless you do your own test fitting. It's marked as 11.5 4E, but it is not that size. I have many New Balance shoes. This shoe's size does not match the label, the label says 11.5 4E but it is smaller. Factory labeling error, or factory has incorrect setup for this size.

Too small. Damaged box. Obvious that the insole has been replaced.

If these are extra wide, I'd hate to see what the regular width would be. Very narrow. Even though they are correct size, my big toe hits on the top of the shoe. Very uncomfortable. Sending them back.

After only 3 weeks of consistent use, the heel in one of the shoes is already worn through
