Over all I love these boots. My daily job involves lots of manual labor on a roof/constantly on my feet and these hold up really well and my feet almost never hurt after a long day. Only thing is I wish there were more colors to choose from.

I've been hiking in these boots or variations of them for years. They provide terrific, stability and traction. I just wish they had better shoelaces. The ones they come with just come undone even with a double knot all the time. The flat kind that stay tied don't really fit in the small holes provided. The boots just need a better shoelace design. But I still buy them and still wear them.

Two years ago, I bought this same style (colors have changed), and love them , still wear them. Bought these in same size but they were too narrow for me (I tend to run on the wide side). Will be trying the men's version in the same EU size to see if they are wider.

They felt too snug in my toes, both width and top to bottom.

I have worn Salomon boots for a long time; this is the first time that they have felt too small (short and with no room in the toe box).

Very Good traction and stability. But these shoes make my feet hurt. I have had them for six months now wearing them about once a week tried different insoles , changed up how they were laced,no change. Typically, I only hike for about two hours at a time. My feet should not be this sore after a short hike. The shoe fits properly and flexes well, I don't get any blisters. I don't know why they make my feet hurt, but these are not the shoe for me.

I've had Solomon mid height boots in the past, but the way the laces are placed on the boot, you can't snug down while lacing up, making it feel unsecured and sloppy on my ankle. Great colors and fit however.

The shoe looked great. The comfort of the sole was great. The length was true to size the toe width was good. the upper tongue was to thick. So thick it was difficult to keep the shoe tied tight which made the ankle area loosen up and rub.

This is my 6th pair of Salomon boots and by far the cheapest made. I am very disappointed. The soles are very thin and provide no comfort or protection or stability.

I bought these about 2 months ago, wore them in the house a few time before hiking, they were comfortable in the store, in my home, but after hiking a few miles I could throw them off, I feel every rock, tree root, can't wait to get them off. I will say they have good support, but not cushioned enough or something, maybe the arch is to high, I don't know, just not my favorite at all. A hiking friend has no problem with hers.

...and you won't feel it til you're a few miles in, so good luck returning the boots. The heel is loose, too, so sizing up wouldn't have helped in this scenario. Most expensive boots I've ever bought and also the most uncomfortable.

I've been wearing this model of Salomon boots for years. They are comfortable and supportive. I add a thin foam insert for additional cushioning. This year, Salomon decided to scent their boots: they reek of mint. Airing them doesn't reduce the smell. As someone who is sensitive, and needs to avoid chemicals, I find this unnecessary and disappointing. Despite daily wear through rain and snow, they never developed and odor. Salomon, please don't scent your boots! Thanks

I bought these because historically Salomon has been my go to for waterproof, comfortable straight from the box hiking boots. But these are not waterproof and I could feel all the small to medium sized rocks on the trail.

Solomons were my go to shoe. I used to recommend them to everyone, but over the last year their quality has gone severely downhill. This will be the last pair of Solomons I will ever own, at this point they are just being added to a landfill every couple of months. I had this brand new pair for only FOUR days on the Colorado Trail when the sole came loose. I was forced to zip tie the sole of my shoe back together and hope that they'd hold until I could go into town and replace them. On top of this, it's monsoon season in Colorado and my feet were always soggy and wet in these "waterproof" shoes. I hope Solomon doesn't continue to sacrifice quality for profit. They used to make the best shoes on the market and I'm so disappointed to say they now make the worse I have ever owned. On a positive note, Solomon has upheld their warranty very well and have always offered me great costumer service. However, after several pairs falling apart within months of purchasing, I don't recommend any shoes made by Solomon.
