I bought these a few weeks ago and I can't stop wearing them. Initially they are for hiking but also can be worn daily super comfortable shoes and fit true to size

It's very comfortable, the size fits me perfectly, not to mention the visuals. I am satisfied

These are great hiking shoes. I have narrow ankles and wish they had another hole behind the top one for a tighter fit, but the grommet below the last hole helps make it possible to tie the laces tight enough that they still work for me.

This shoe provides great support not just for my feet, also for my hips, sacrum and back! I feel great wearing them...energized and strong!

I have worn these shoes to work where I stand on my feet for hours and hiking. So far they have lived up to what I demand of them! I had an older similar model and needed an upgrade and these have not disappointed.

And that's saying a lot for a 76 yo Grandma! Comfortable, killer supportive, absolutely what I'd hoped.

This is my third iteration of this shoe (I wore out the other two) and I still love it. But I miss the pull lace system.

Nice fit. Waiting for spring to wear outside as not waterproof.

X ULTRA PIONEER Women's size 8 I always wear Salomons in size 8 women's. However, these shoes are a bit larger. The insole is exactly the same as in my size 8 Ultra Gore-tex ones; however, the shoe itself is larger. When I feel inside with my fingers, there is space between the insole and the inside of the shoe both, in front and in the back. My ankle moves separately from the shoe. I don't think though that the difference in size is enough to switch to the next smaller size... I'll try a different model instead.

I miss the "slip knot" laces a lot. Rest of the shoe is fine. Only worn once. Solomon really fits my hard to fit feet. They last and last

I love the way they fit my foot but they somehow allow for a lot of leaf debris to get between my shoe and sock. That's annoying on wooded trails. For road/path walking they're perfect. Very comfortable and grip well.

Love the 2nd pair I received. First pair were too big by 1/2 size though I ordered the size I usually wear.

Great hiking book, super comfortable and fits great. Only down fall is that if you are hiking on slab rocks or wet rocks these do not have good traction at all due to the rubber soles. Would love to see the soles upgraded to Vibram or another high traction material.

I have adored my X Ultra shoes with the easy to lace strong one lace mechanism. I'm frankly heartbroken that they've gone with regular laces. Please bring them back! People will get used to them if they just give them a try.

This shoe did not work for me the toe box was wide.

I liked the shoes fine, when I got them. Unfortunately, even when paying extra for 2-day delivery, they were late so I couldn't take them on my trip.

I have worn the X Ultra hiking shoe for years. I put them on straight out of the box and never thought about my feet again- COMPLETE comfort. The Pioneers are a stripped down version of the X Ultra 3. You took away all padding in the tongue around the ankle and left it with little comfort or durability. Also, what the deal with the tongue not staying in place and sliding over to the side. I am so disappointed.

I don't know why the X Ultra 3 had to be 'upgraded', but this is not an upgrade. The narrow footbed and fast tie laces were perfectly designed. Please bring them back. They were the best and didn't need any changes.

I'm not a fan of these hikers. I love my Solomon boots and wanted a shoe style. They are not comfortable at all, very stiff and no traction on rocky surfaces. Still hoping they need to be broken in!
