Fit was good, true to size. Comfortable immediately.

Exchanged my usual 9.5 for a 9 and was more confident with the length, didn't want too much room for my foot to move around when hiking/walking on grades. Love the comfortable fit, light weight, and great grip. Glad they're waterproof for the elements, and have already gotten compliments on the styling. Generating some interest in Salomon from some who are not familiar with the brand. Finally, the material and design of the outsole provides a great mix of cushion and energy that hopefully will have me walking happily on an upcoming trip.

True to size

I've been having a hard time finding these shoes in stock, they have been my go to shoes for work for years. I haven't bought a pair in a year or so and these feel a little less quality than the old ones. I'm not wild about the styling, but they fit the same and are comfortable. The cushion seems stiffer than previous versions. I'm happy with them overall though.

Loved the colors, not as cushy as desired, but the main reason for returning is the roominess of the toe box created a wrinkly look on my slender feet, and the laces didn’t slide as easily as should, perhaps a computer generated design fail.

These are great shoes, but uncomfortuanately they were too narrow for my feet.

The fit was fine -- my biggest concern was that it looked like the toe edge was already pulling away on both shoes. As at least one other review had mentioned that these shoes didn't hold up very well, I was nervous that if the edge already has a gap, these are not well made.

Bought these for a trip to see the snow. Just to walk around a bit. The waterproofing was good, feet were kept warm and dry. I’m using them for hiking now, nice thick soles and traction. I was pleasantly surprised that they were more attractive then I thought they’d be. They run very large, at least a full size bigger than marked. I have a large foot and was surprised that I was able to put my full size orthotic foot support in and still have them be very long on me. I usually have to size up a full size to get enough room. I beat them up in my last hike but I feel like they’ll hold up well.

Loved the styling and color. Toe box seemed "long" and wider than usual, just didn't work for my foot shape, and my heel slipped when i walked. The waterproofing on these shoes made them seem a bit stiff, but that could've been due to the materials in general. Arch support and cushioning seemed reasonably comfortable although seemed a bit "hard" and inflexible for my foot. Probably would loosen up with wearing. Overall, just didn't work for me and had to return, but these are well constructed shoes and good looking design.

Had to add my own inserts. Took a few tries to get the right ones.

Style wise, looked good, fairly comfortable, but the back was so high it felt like it might rub on long hikes. Found something a little better for me.

I read all the reviews and ordered a 9.5 then 9 then 8.5 and still felt big. Overall shoe just didnt fit my foot
