Last pair I had were way better. Upper shoe to soft little support. Sole is hard, slick when wet. It is not the same shoe I would hit the trails with my last pair were great.

I have owned a dozen of your shoes over the years. They were suggested by my foot doctor after I had surgery and they are the most comfortable shoes I have owned. But there is a reoccurring problem that I get with the left shoe. My left foot is a bit smaller than my right foot. This causes wear and tear to the fabric of the shoe and I always wear a hole just past the brushed leather of the toe cover. I have had other shoes of yours that the toe cover extends a bit closer up the arch of my foot. These style of shoes with this extended toe cover wear much longer.

My shoes are not identical. The tongues have different lengths and some loops for laces are not opposite. Obviously my pair has a really poor quality.

Much lighter material that previous models that ive owned and it feels "cheaply" made. I was assuming that they were gortex as well because all the others I have bought in the past were. This is about my 10th pair of Solomons and the first time I've been dissatisfied.
