Light weight and perfect size. Colors brought me back to when I was a kid!

Love the throwback look of this vest! As other reviewers have noted, it is very lightweight, not at all puffy. But great for fall or a hike! I typically wear an XS or S in most clothes (Lululemon size 6) but after reading some of the reviews, I went with the Petite XXS. It fits me perfectly. I would say compared to other brands, this Petite XXS vest is bigger--its more like a standard length XS.

It is a light weight vest and not as puffy as other vests I have but I love the feel, a perfect weight for cool days where you just need a little extra. The color is fun. I am always on the line between regular and petite. When I went to order the regular in my size it was gone and I worried the petite would be short. I decided to try the petite anyway. It is plenty long (as I like longer lengths) and I am so happy I made this purchase for spring weather.

This is a great lightweight but warm vest perfect for layering with sweaters or sweatshirts. I love the Spring colors. This is a great layering vest for our colder South Dakota Winters and Spring. The length hits just below my hips. The vest is roomy with several layers underneath, but I sized up from L to XL in order to do just that. A L would have worked fine too.

I purchased a small instead of usual XS so that I could layer over a jean jacket or sweatshirt. If over a LS t-shirt an XS would be fine (over 34 chest). This ins't as warm as the primaloft jackets that I have - I have both the puffer jacket and a primaloft), but to me this is perfect to wear as a layer that's also retro / fun (so I'm not wearing yet another hoodie as my only winter wardrobe). With the WI forecast in the single digits for the next few weeks I will def. wear this vest more than once. I really appreciate Bean providing temperature ratings with their outerwear.

The vest is very comfortable and keeps my body warm. I like that the vest is puffy and warm without using duck or goose feathers. The synthetic stuffing, while not very environmentally friendly, is better than using goose or duck feathers. The fit seems snug, especially considering that one might wear some layers beneath it. It might be helpful to have a two-way zipper so that the bottom can be opened when one sits in the car, for instance.

Nice stylish vest. I am 5'5" and find it a bit long in xs. I probably should have gotten a petite. A bit wide at the bottom but overall comfortable and warm under a coat.

I really like this vest. It's comfortable and fits over layers. The zipper seems like it will last. Zippered hand pockets would make it much better so valuables stay secured. Also, the snaps feel like they will pull out of the fabric after a while of use. I know they are going for the retro look, but you could still put a non-functional snap on for looks and zippered pockets. Interior pockets would also be nice.

Thinner than I thought it would be but still pretty warm. I like the color a lot.

I wish LL Bean would have taken the suggestion of its loyal customers and made the pockets have a zipper. This is my second Mountain classic and it would be 5 stars if they would just get rid of the snaps on the pockets.

I like the color and outlook of the vest! It runs very small in size! I got a Xlarge which is usually fine! I have had to take it back as it was too small! I never could have put a sweater under it! I would go a size larger ! I have bought many things at LLBean before

I like this vest a lot, but it's shrunk one full size after washing and drying.

A bit small in the chest. Be forewarned if you are a C cup or more.

I love the look of the vest, however, I am 5'0 about 110 lbs and ordered a petite small and it's a bit big. I plan to return it for an x small..

I like the weight and color of the vest. I think I need to lose a little weight because the LP size is a bit snug, but XLP is too roomy! I purchased the vest because my daughter had bought one and I could see the color, weight, and quality of it before committing to buying it. (We have no LL Bean stores close to us!)

Purchased Petite M for myself, and Petite XXS for my daughter. I followed other reviews, sized down and so glad I did, roomy enough for a longsleeve fleece jacket underneath. Comfy. Really wish it had an inside pocket for my phone and double zippers. Good thing I purchased on sale, and it looks nice on so we'll keep!

The vest is beautiful, well made but I couldn't keep it because it runs big. Even though I exchanged it to XSmall petite, there was not much of a difference from the regular small.

worth the money. Good layering vest. Sized right.

This is a lightweight, thin vest, but the colors are unique and fun enough to make it a keeper. I seem to always wear medium, but I did have to exchange this for a small, as the medium was really big around the waist. The small is much better and still fits well around the chest.

I love this vest, I have gotten so many compliments wearing this vest. I would say that I am a size 14 on top and this vest in a size large has some room which is how I want my vests to fit. I appreciate the button on the pockets because it helps my large phone stay put. I ended up buying this style in navy blue as well.

Nice vest for springtime. Love the retro look. Plenty of room for layering with a fleece. Wish it had inside chest pocket for phone, etc.

True to size, nice colors. Not a puffer vest, very lightweight.
