This jacket is super light weight and comfortable. It fits great, as described. I would not suggest wearing this jacket in any temperature below 32 degrees. This is for about 40 degree weather.

Runs a bit small, I had to order up a size. After I got corrected size it is very comfortable and perfect mid weight jacket.

Remember the "down sweaters" of 15 or 20 years ago? This jacket is less warm. I can see the purpose of this jacket, possibly as a slightly warmer rain jacket. The color Juniper is gorgeous.

I purchased this jacket to wear for a trip to South of France in January. I wore it in pouring rain and it kept me dry. I wore it in 30-50 degree weather and kept me comfortable. However, I strongly recommend wearing layers-which I did not. I had limited clothing. However, the day I wore a merino wool sweater and the jacket, I was comfortable in 30 degree daytime temp. Nighttime was colder and I was chilly in the coat. Again, wearing layers would have helped. All in all a great jacket for traveling it folds up in a nice compact ball.

Love this light weight jacket. Packs well. Long enough. Goes over hips. Some pilling starting not much, washed 2 times.

Love the color, it fits great. Love the longer length. A two way zipper would make it perfect.

This is a nice and lightweight jacket. I am 5'0" 105 lbs and ordered both a petite XS and petite XXS. The XXS fit if I wanted a more fitted look, but was a little restricting. I kept the petite XS so I can comfortably wear large sweatshirts under it. I agree with other reviewers that the jacket is not likely to keep you warm enough with temps under 50 degrees F.

I love this jacket, for the most part!! I love all of the pockets, the colors, and the light weight which is just perfect for fall in New England! However, the zipper is terrible!! It takes a few tries before it zips correctly. It needs to be a double zipper, especially for the price paid!!

This jacket is lightweight and waterproof. It is good for 50-60 degree weather. I love the blue color and the hip length, and the elastic around the hood keeps it on your head when zippered. There four pockets that zipper, the two on the top, one on the outside and one on the inside are large enough for your phone. The wrists have elastics and the bottom of the jacket have elastic cinch straps to keep cold weather out.

I'm very satisfied with this lightweight coat. The hood is nice. The trim on the sleeves is chintzy, however.

This is a nice lightweight jacket. I expect it to hold up for many years. The sleeves seemed a bit long and the fit was somewhat boxy. Hood was functional but too small for general casual wear. One plus for the small hood is that when you don't need it, it doesn't get in the way. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase but probably wouldn't pay full price for this design.

Like the fitted styling and light weight of this Primaloft jacket. Unfortunately it is not at all warm and not sized for layering. Kept it anyway for warmer spring weather.

I would have loved this jacket if it wasn't, as they call it, slightly fitted. All Bean's clothes now seem to be "slightly "fitted. I ordered a large and it was too fitted. I prefer a little more room.

Nice thin jacket but warm. Not as warm as I wanted hence the 4 stars. I've had warmer Primaloft jackets from LL Bean in the past. I don't know what happened to the cold ratings as they were very helpful to compare with outside temperatures. That would have been very helpful when I purchased this jacket. Nevertheless it's a nice jacket with 2-3 layers but not for extended time out in the cold.

For NC (mid section of state to coastal plains) this is my most frequently worn jacket. It does not get in your way with heaviness or length but keeps me warm except except during very cold temps & wind. However, that said I would not wear it outside in the cold for hours like at a football game. It works best for me running errands going from car to stores finding it not necessary to remove my coat. Downside with this jacket are no deep interior pockets for phone, wallet, etc & the contrasting colors with the hood & trim. Same color throughout would look much nicer & blend in better with other apparel colors you are wearing.

I have this jacket in previous season colors (rusty red and camp green) and it has performed exceptionally well. It's lightweight, packs into a small roll in my daypack, keeps me warm by itself in cooler weather and, when worn with other layers, keeps me warm in cold winter weather. I wear a lightweight waterproof shell over it in rainy weather and it's perfect. I was looking forward to wearing this year's Mountain Red color, but didn't like the contrast navy blue hood lining so sent it back. If the hood lining matched the jacket color, I would rate this jacket 5 stars.

I was unsure of sizing but went with the regular small and very happy with purchase. I'm 5'2 and 105 lbs with a long torso and the jacket fits great with room for layering. It is warm enough to walk in 30 degrees here in Buffalo, ny. I wouldn't recommend for colder or windier weather without layering as it is thin. The lilac color is really pretty too. Much better than I expected.

I am 5' 10" and 148 lbs. I bought the large and it was huge . Exchanged for the medium and its great. Its very light weight, not for weather in the 30-40's.But I bought it for the spring and fall. I also purchased the 850 Down Sweater Jet. in medium. Too tight across shoulders, bending arms was tight also. Too bad LL Bean can't make their sizes uniform. It is a hassle to have to return things. I do think the 850 down would be a warmer version of a light jacket.

Great jacket. When used with layering it is very warm. I love this and have purchased 3 over time. Minor disappointment with this latest was that the red color was less vibrant than in the pictures.

Very warm jacket that fits well, but not enough pockets. Could use a couple pockets on the inside lining for sunglasses & iPhone.
