I purchased this jacket for a hiking trip out West. It kept me warm and comfortable. I was able to pack it into my backpack when not in use.

Perfect for a rainy spring vacation. I stayed dry, found the hood useful, if unflattering, the 4 pockets were practical and protected me from pickpockets.

Love these coat. Thin but warm. I don't like bulky coats. I also tend to get hot easier so this is great. Fits well to size. I sized up for if I wanted to wear a sweater or sweatshirt on super cold days. I was so happy when they came out with the mountain red color this year. Love that it has a blue interior. My favorite part about LL Bean coats is the front chest pocket. Great for keeping the cell phone, credit card, etc.

Took this coat to France. Temperatures were 40-50s. It was the perfect weight. Lots of zippered pockets too. No need to carry a purse.

I love it. My second PrimaLoft Jacket. I wear my old one daily for dog walks and it still holds its own.

Bought this for an upcoming cruise to Alaska. It's the perfect weight. Would I wear this in 20-30 degree weather, probably not. But for 40-50 weather, it's perfect.

This is my jacket of choice most of the time. It is light and I can layer sweaters and vests in colder weather. It slips on easily.

The fit is great and this jacket is so lightweight! Nice deep pockets all around.

These jackets are fantastic! I now have three of them because they are great three seasons of the year, they travel in a small pouch you fold up easily into itself, and they wash terrific. And it's amazing how they keep you so warm with a very little bulk to the jacket I don't like jackets when you feel like you're confined inside the jacket, and that doesn't happen with this one it is a very friendly jacket to wear in the car and anywhere!

Love the shape and fit of this jacket. I did have a problem with the zipper and appreciated that you replaced it when the zipper broke beyond repair.

Recently Michigan weather has been a rollercoaster, 25 degrees in the morning then rainy 50 degrees in the afternoon. The packaway covered the whole day perfectly.

Very happy with this purchase. It is a great year round coat for SE. Lavender is very pretty. Weight is good. The hood is not too big. If you don't want to use the hood, you can tuck it inside the back. The pockets are great. The front pocket not having the stitching does stand out but I'm happy with everything else about it. I purchased because it can pack up into the pocket. It is not a full on winter coat for "up North" but it's perfect for hiking and everyday use. Would purchase again.

I purchased this in Bramble Berry, XL. It is replacing an older version from 2017 in Port Orange, Lg (which is still looking great but does not leave enough room for layering underneath). The PrimaLoft Packaway is light but surprisingly warm. Good to wear by itself or as a mid-layer under a shell or raincoat. I like the updated styling, fabric and bright color. Bramble Berry is a bright, flattering fushia (I cannot do the drab colors anymore). Thank you LLB for continuing this outdoor essential!

I love this coat. I love the looks. I love the color which is a pinkish/purplish color. The coat is good for temperatures in San Francisco winters, about 40 or 50 degrees although I usually wear a warm layer under it. I bought a medium even though I wear small sweaters.
