I am 79 years old, 5 ft 3 in, and weigh 140 lbs. For this Fleece Lined Primaloft Jacket, I ordered a Petite Large so I can wear a bulky sweater underneath and the fit is perfect. One serious negative is that this jacket does not have a third pocket like my other LL Bean jackets and I really miss it for carrying my max-size iPhone. Also, I wish LL Bean would eliminate exterior logos on all garments, or at least place them near the hem so they aren't so obvious. On this jacket, the logo is tastefully embroidered, but it is placed much too high. I really don't want to broadcast to everyone I meet what brand of clothing I wear. I have worn LL Bean apparel for many decades because of the fit, classic style, and quality workmanship.

This is simply a great jacket. It is so lightweight and has just enough warmth for cooler days. I enjoy the "furry" inside collar. Side pockets are convenient. Gives a sleek, stylish fit and look.

I was so excited to receive this jacket but I guess I didn't read the description well. It is very lightweight not made for New York winters. I was hoping it would have a more plush lining but the fleece inside is very lightweight, like a glove lining. The sleeves, shoulders and length were fine but since I carry some weight around my middle I felt the body was too form fitting and unflattering for me. Unfortunately its going back.

The jacket has a nice fit that does not look bulky. I have worn it in temperatures ranging from the low 40's to high 50's and it kept me warm. It is also lightweight, making it a great option for travel. I do wish that it had an interior zip pocket.

Just the shoulder season jacket I was looking for. Lining is so soft and it's just the right weight.

I bought this jacket to wear in between seasons. It is comfortable and warm enough for cooler weather when I don't want to wear a big coat. It is slightly fitted and good to wear with a light sweater.

Wanted a jacket feeling light but yet keeps me warm and this definitely is the one! Love the side zipped pockets to put phone in.

Love this brown jacket. Had some trouble with sizing but finally got it right with a petite medium. I am normally a reg small, but this jacket ran tight and sleeves were too long in the reg. Did I say that I love, love, love the color? So glad that some interesting browns are making a fashion comeback.

I bought this jacket at the end-of-season sale at 50% discount. For the price I paid, this is an excellent value. I have used it mostly for hour-long dog walks in 20-30 degree temperatures. I think it would be too warm above 40 degrees (if walking briskly) but would be excellent for attending outdoor events in the winter. It is most definitely windproof and I appreciate how light it is for the warmth. My only "wish" for this jacket was that the pockets were linked in fleece for a little extra warmth.

This jacket is perfect for the cold winter we had. I bought the lighter weight version a couple of years ago and love it, but when the temperature is below freezing, the fleece-lined permaloft jacket is what I needed. In fact I like it so much, I returned to LL Bean and ordered the coat. The fit of the jacket is great. I do recommend sizing up if you plan to wear a sweater underneath.

What a great transitional coat into our colder weather spring weather here in Chicago! Absolutely perfect for the damp colder days but a nice spring jacket for a cooler than normal springtime day!

Love this jacket, bought one size up so that I could wear a sweater underneath and it keeps me very warm! Also love the quilted sides as they allow me to move easier.

I wanted a coat that was warm but not bulky for those days when it isn't frigid and outside. This coat is perfect for riding in the car to do errands and it's warm enough too.im already getting compliments on it too.

Lovely SLIM fit. Best over light or mid weight tops. Too snug for fleece. I like the side stretch panels. Slimming. Length is nice.

Love the color, fit and quality I wasn't sure how i would like the mixed stitching patterns in person, but it's actually very interesting and fun. it feels a little lightweight for it to be a sufficiently warm jacket for the Fall, but time will tell. Now I just can't wait for the weather to warm up enough to be able to wear it.

I recd my jacket as a gift but needed to exchange for a large. I usually wear a medium but wanted enough room to wear a sweater. It's very warm and comfortable. One thing to note is it generates a lot of static electricity in the winter dryness due to the fuzzy lining. Not biggy.
I'm going to get a lot of use out of this jacket.
