Bought this for my wife, she likes the light weight and still warm on cold rainy days.

I live in Seattle and this rain jacket is just perfect for the weather here. It is comfortable and definitely keeps me dry. Love the jacket - just wish I had bought it sooner.

This is exactly what I was looking for - something durable and relatively water resistant that I can wear over a sweater. Some people are complaining about how it's not a super warm coat, but that's not how it was advertised. If you live up north / in New England, think of this as your rainy and 40 degrees out coat. I live in NY and this jacket has been perfect for those days where I need a good layer but don't want my big puffy down coat. I'm also a birder and outside for long stretches away from my car so the pockets are great for snacks, keys, phone, gloves, etc. I am 5'6" and 160 lbs and got a large so I could wear sweaters underneath - perfect size for me, but might feel a tad big to others.

Lined, lightweight raincoat. Love the cream color, great length & fit all around. Lots of pockets! Keeps me dry.

The styling on this jacket is both functional and attractive. It moves with me and doesn't hinder my movement. The jacket feels smooth and the lining prevents scratchy seams from irritating me. It is an effective windbreaker and the fabric doesn't feel cold on a windy day. I haven't worn it in heavy rain but in light rain, I stayed dry I can layer it over an LLBean sweater jacket if I need more warmth. That said, I would love to have a warm lining to this jacket.

I love the hood! It stays in place and makes it to where you can still see. The amount of pockets is great as well and i love that it is water resistant! The coat looks classy!

JUST RGHT ! This jacket is just right for wind, rainy day, or a bit cooler weather. It is not heavy and travels well. Glad I bought it and wore on vacation to Florida.

I had tried other brands in the past for raincoats and outdoor clothing because llbean had changed their return-exchange policy... sometimes buying a full price over $200 jacket if it comes apart they wouldn't replace it even if i had my receipt. I just want it to be fixed.. so i bought this jacket full price hoping it will last me at least a year... fits perfect.. I am not sure how long this will last.. but i do love the classic style non trendy..

Rain and wind proof, light weight and very comfortable with a sweater underneath. I love it!

Got for farm work so I did not tear up my primaloft rain jacket which is awesome but the pine branches are not friendly to it.

I got this jacket as a Christmas present and I love it light weight and I stay dry in the rain. Living on the coast weather can be very wet.

This jacket is great for rainy and windy weather. It repels water really well and keeps you completely dry. Once the temps get down to the 30s it's not warm quite warm enough. I will be wearing it on the milder winter days, spring and fall. I am about 160lbs and 5'1". I got a medium and it fits great. It is a bit tight around my back side but I have that issue with all women's cuts. I still love this coat though!

Love this jacket!!! I ordered my usual size, Large, and at first thought it was a little big....but then tried it on again with layers, and its fine. Tested it out in the rain and it is definitely waterproof. So glad I bought it!!!

This jacket is perfect for areas of the country that get cold but not freezing weather. Easy to layer sweaters under it for temperature changes. The jacket says slightly fitted and that is true so order accordingly. The hood ties can be a little odd to undo but the hood closes tightly to keep warm. It has lots of pockets also. Love it and would def order again.

I just got this for Christmas and am looking forward to using it, especially on an upcoming trip where the weather will be variable. It's lighter weight than a full on winter coat, lined, and feels perfect for laying if needed. I also like being able to cinch in the waist to make it less a boxy-looking fit. I usually wear a medium but the large was the only one available in this color and it fits just fine.

I bought a jacket very similar to this one when I was 24 and I wore it for over 20 years before it started looking shabby. I am now 71 and decided I needed a jacket as good as the one I remembered and lo and behold, LLBEAN still makes this jacket! I read the reviews carefully and was worried about the sizing complaints, but when the jacket arrived it was roomy everywhere (not tight in the hips) and so incredibly well-made and sharp-looking. Folks, this is a light weight rain and wind jacket, NOT a winter jacket. If people read carefully, and this is what they want, they will love this professionally made jacket. I LOVE IT!

Absolutely LOVE my new coat! Just what I was looking for, a coat to wear in between early fall and winter. Nice for layering as well to wear when colder. Quality is superb!

I've had this a couple months. It's not super warm, but it's great for around 30-50F degrees. It has a nice lining, and it's nice and roomy with good pockets. Really impressed with how waterproof it is, the water just beads on it and doesn't soak in.

This coat is perfect in style, looks, fit and comfort. It is just what I wanted.

This is a terrific lighter-weight winter coat. Warm enough for a cold day, but will definitely keep me dry.
