I normally wear XXL in misses but since that size wasn't offered I went with the 1X in the plus size. Everything fit well except the upper arms which was way too snug.

The cut is incredibly tight. The sizing needs help. Go up a few sizes when you order this. Customer service was top notch on the return

I'm sad that this jacket had to be returned. I ordered it to take this on vacation so I ordered a medium which I normally wear and a large just in case. The medium was very small all over and the large was snug in the hips. It seems as though in many clothing items the fit around the hips is getting snugger and snugger; I used to be a consistent medium at L.L. Bean and now I never know what will fit in what won't. The jacket would be perfect for drizzly and cool summer days, it is well-made, lightweight, and the teal color was very appealing. I have never purchased an item in XL but I really liked this jacket, so I'm going to try the XL.

Disappointed...while this still may be good quality..I will never know...size so far off. I usually wear a large in most things and in the past have found LLBean products to be generous or spot on in size...I ordered an XL anyway to be sure since it looked a bit fitted and because I actually like my jackets a bit roomy and wanted room for a sweater. This jacket was so fitted..no room for a sweater, but the sleeves were loose and ridiculously long. Sadly I had to send back.

I had high hopes for this windbreaker but ended up returning it. Sleeves were way too long. The elastic on the wrist way too loose. My wrists would have had to be at least twice their size for the elastic around the wrist to have worked. Loved the teal color.

I returned the jacket. I found the pockets to be very inconveniently placed, too much Velcro and the jacket really needs a 2 way zipper. Loved the old one I brought from Beans years ago.

Loved the jacket but the sleeves were much too small! I had read other reviews that reported a similar situation, but I thought 'well llBean jackets always fit me!' Not so! Had to return /:

It seems LL Bean has changed their style of clothes because the womens 1X rainjacket sleeves have been made smaller around the bicep area of your arm which causes it not to fit correctly. My older jacket size XL fits much better on the upper arm then the newest jacket. I noticed this with other jackets from LLBean.

Sadly I had to return this jacket. The quality was good but it was very poorly designed. The upper arms were far too tight. One would think that when designing clothing for Plus sized women they would adjust the arms accordingly.

Love this jacket except the hood. Not adjustable. I bought it for hiking but even a slight breeze and the hood doesn't stay on. Worst purchase I've made in a long time

I've been unable to clean a spot on one sleeve. Looks like a quarter size grease stain. I have tried washing it about four times by hand with mild liquid soap.

Love color and fit BUT pocket flaps are wrong direction and do not like the Velcro. Sadly I will be returning. I so love LL Bean

The gunmetal grey is absolutely NAVY. I can't believe they are trying to pass that off as anything but blue. 60 degree sunny weather, wearing a tee and medium weight sweatshirt underneath, winds 7mph, I was COLD. I could feel the wind blowing through the fabric. If I could feel the wind, I'm sure I would feel the rain too but I'm not hanging on to this overpriced junk to find out! Fit: Small petite fit perfect for 34B. If pulled straight, the sleeves come down to my fingers halfway and the elastic isn't very fitted; my sweatshirt sleeves kept the them around my wrists. The style was very cute, but I was looking for function as well.

Fit is not at all proportional for a plus size! The sleeves are not cut full enough. Not even close

I waited months for this jacket to arrive (it was backordered). I am so disappointed. I ordered Petite Small and the sleeves are nearly to my fingertips. I recently ordered another jacket from LLB (also Petite Small) and you can see the difference in the sleeves. Returning as I cannot wear.

Odd fit. The sleeves are too long and the hips too tight.

I hate Velcro on jackets. I will no longer make a purchase of any item with Velcro. I've ruined much nicer clothing with Velcro on a jacket. LL Bean seems to love the Velcro

Fit is completely off. Small cut. Not enough room through shoulders, waist. Not comfortable at all. Bean has really gone down in quality. Shame.

This is a odd and awkward fit for a women, the design seems to be modeled after a man's body. This jacket is not designed for women hips or frame.

The length of the arms are much too long. It was designed for a monkey.

The size was good. I had room for layers underneath which I was happy about. I was extremely disappointed with the weight of the jacket though. It is extremely thin and light, not at all like it appears in the photo. The photo appears a bit bulkier, more like a fall jacket, like I was wanting. This is essentially just a shell. It doesn't have much shape to it either; it's not really a flattering cut. Also, the color is darker, not as bright as the teal in the photo. I feel that the price is too much for what you're getting, like this is not really an L.L. Bean quality jacket. If I didn't have to pay to send it back, I'd return it.

Sorry to say I returned it. Armholes way too tight to wear any kind of layer under it. I got a red one several years ago that fits great. I still wear it!
