Just what I wanted -- lightweight, protective, comfy & VISIBLE in "lemon drop." The 2 exterior slash pockets have flaps that close with a single patch of Velcro each, and one zippered interior pocket doubles as a stuff-sack (which I haven't used). Hood fits well over my short hair, probably also a kerchief or thin balaclava for warmth, with light elastic but no drawstring. True to size, it accommodates a medium-weight layer underneath. One complaint: garment details are printed prominently on a fabric panel at the back of the neck -- tacky looking.

Went to Nashville with a friend and did not rent a car. Walked everywhere-and it rained almost the whole time we were there. Our first walk was 35 minutes, steady rain, and stayed completely dry. The coat sheds water, and shakes off quickly once inside. The coat really does all fit into it's pocket. No magic wand needed. The interior zippered pocket was perfect for my phone. Kept it near by, but protected. The exterior pockets velcro shut, so no water got in while we walked. Added bonus, the coat adds just a little warmth. Was never too hot, even when I wore the coat inside. Someone really thought about it all when designing this coat. The zipper pull on the pocket that holds the coat says "STOW". Zippers are well sewn in, and the velcro dots on the zipper placket make double sure that no water gets in. Love the teal color. Not boring black, a nice bright color, but still appropriate for a 55+ year old. So glad I had this coat on my trip. Thank you LL Bean! (note: I tried about 5 other LL Bean jackets, and a couple others before finding this one. Well worth the search!)

As always LL Bean delivers, fits as described, love that it goes over my jacket, hood is large enough, and packable pocket.

I have two of these jackets in different colors. They are great for layering in the Spring and Fall. In the summer they are perfect for cool breezes at night. I always keep one in the car in case I need it. They are versatile and wash well. The one I bought 5 years ago still looks brand new and I used it all through Europe on a 4 month trip.

A really nice windbreaker. I ordered this to take with me to Cape Cod and ended up wearing it daily. It was even perfect on the whale watch with a tee and sweatshirt underneath. I even love the color!

I am very happy with my purchase of this jacket! I was in the rain last week and the jacket kept me totally dry! Also, the jacket has ample pockets, which is an added plus!

Runs a little large, which is a good thing..I wore this during recent heavy rain and wind. It has good coverage , Velcro wristbands and Velcro closure in front. Really kept rain away. I'm 5' 4" and ordered a Women's size M. Nice fit

I needed a light weight rain jacket for summer and something that would fit over a fleece when the weather turns cold. I wasn't looking for yellow, but realized this was perfect for early morning dog walks. It has simple lines, fits well with room for a sweater underneath and keeps me dry. It's perfect. Even my fashion forward 21 year old daughter complimented it.

I am 5 feet 4 inches 135pound in 60's. I bought regular XS and it fits very well. The upper arm is a little tight.

Not only have I received compliments on the appearance of this jacket, but its fit and performance are superb. The rain in Bergen, Norway did not phase it in the least. I stayed warm and dry with the rain sheeting down.

I bought this for an Alaskan Trip with a lot of kayaking involved. It rained hard several times and I remained totally dry. Love this jacket!

This jacket was perfect for my 10 day trip to Iceland the first of August. We experienced wind daily and rain 8 days with temps in the low 50's. The coat was roomy enough for two layers underneath which stayed dry on the rainiest of days. Plus it was quick drying & very packable.

I love the fabric of this jacket. It has a soft texture instead of that plastic feeling. And the bright color cheers me up on gray days.

I've needed a lightweight, travel-ready raincoat for some time. I purchased a winter version of this coat (PETITE-LARGE) last year and love it. I read the negative reviews for this raincoat re fit, color, zipper issues etc., but based on my previous experience, I bought it anyway. I could not be happier with quality, fit, and color (lemon yellow).

Love, love, love this jacket. Keeps me dry even in the heaviest rain. Fits!! Comfortable. Washes like a dream, but don't use fabric softener products (ruins the waterproofing). Former LLBean employee (pandemic casualty), but I researched the product, bought it, and LOVE IT!!

I just love this wind breaker, comes in a mallard color . True to size has a nice net lining, so it doesn't stick to you.

This jacket is great, nice and light. Ordered a size bigger to be able to layer underneath. Just wish it had a string in the hood to tighten the hood down.

Light weight and comfortable. I bought the lemon drop color. Brightens up a gray day! The hood does not mess up your hair. It's easy to flip up or down. Love this wind and rain repellent jacket.
I now look forward to rainy days! Patti Grube Bethlehem Pa

This jacket is just what I needed. It is great in the wind and holds up well in a light rain. I got regular extra large, and it is perfect for me (5'3", 155 lb.) with room to spare for another light layer. The jacket looks better on than it does in the picture. I've only worn it a couple of times but I've already received compliments on the fit and true teal color. Living in Northern New England, I have other warm jackets that meet these needs, including a totally rainproof Gore-Tex jacket, but none that are uninsulated and as lightweight as this windbreaker jacket, and at a very reasonable price. It's going with me to the Pacific Northwest in July.

I'd been looking for a new windbreaker for the longest time and couldn't seem to find one, until a friend suggested LL Bean. This jacket met all the criteria I was looking for--lightweight, hooded, waterproof, and though it was a bit more expensive than I really wanted to spend, I decided to buy it. It arrived quickly, fit perfectly, and by checking out YouTube videos, I found out how it will fold up into its own small bag for travel. My only disappointment was that I'd thought it would have a little more lining than it has, but overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
