I rarely have to return items from LL Bean and have been shopping here for decades. Lately I have noticed a change in the quality of some items. This coat was not cut correctly somehow. The arms were way to tight and the seams didn't follow the lines of the body. I am very disappointed in the workmanship and quality of this coat.

I wear XL in everything & it's always roomy. This won't close.

This is a wonderful coat! I love it! I live in NH, so it gets very cold. This coat is so warm and has very deep pockets that hold my phone and keys. I love it; best coat ever. < 3

Scratchy, bad fit, not at all like I thought it'd be

I would not give it any stars. Do not buy this coat. The lining smelled so bad. The lining was doubtful. The color was beautiful. How sad. Where was this made?

I got this a few days ago and as soon as I tried it on, I realized it wouldn't work. I wore it around my building, just to be sure. The texture isn't the way I imagined it would be (too rought) and the fit feels boxy and ill-cut. I had to return it and, of course, pay for that. I wish I could have ordered a couple other coats with this one, just to see which I liked best, and then been able to return with no penalty.

Sleeves were very snug. I expected the coat to be more stretchy. It wasn't comfortable, but I liked the style. I returned it.

Ordered 2 winter coats. They were BOTH too small. I don't know who makes your coats but you need to change vendors! I had to send both back. You therefore lost over 400 $.

Runs super small and looked cheap. I was so disappointed plus I didn't get my refund! LL Bean sent me a merchandise card. Double letdown!!!!!!

I returned this item because it was too small to fit over winter clothes and the zipper stuck as I was trying it on.

S0 wanted to love this but found it very stiff (for a Berber fleece), weight felt like an extra 10 pounds. Not good! Returned it.

I wanted to love this coat but I am sending it back after much self-deliberation. The fit was ample in the main body, pockets great, nice high neck, color was good, but not the sleeves . . if dressed in two layers. I am quite thin and two layers is my thing all winter, so removing a layer to wear it seemed impractical. If the lining of the sleeves was the same as the backing of the pockets, I think the smoother surface (as in back of pockets) could have been perfect. The coat is something different for style and fabric from my winter down apparel and had great appeal to me otherwise. Hard to rate it unworn - but based it on hoped for expectations.

Too tight in the shoulders, too big in the hips, material not roomy

Nice, but the medium was too small and the large would have been too large.

Every year I am hopeful and try another jacket/coat and every year I return it. I hover between XXL and plus size. The sleeves are always too short. It as if you think plus size women are always short/petite.

This was very lightweight, more like a sweatshirt - returned.

This coat was not only small, I could not even get it on. I have worn the same size for decades. I recently lost 35 pounds - I was expecting this to be a little large, which is fine in a winter coat. This poor sizing is so frustrating. I have already returned it.

Website photos make this coat look soft and comfy. Unfortunately, the outer texture is rough and feels like plastic. Very unappealing. The inside is not soft either. It's a rough polyester texture and the sleeves have no padding inside. Also, as usual, Bean continues to wrongly put their zippers on the left side, not the right, as men's clothes do. Servants don't dress women anymore, Bean, quit with the left openings/zippers. Price is extremely high for such poor quality. Returned it.

I don't think anyone would look good in this. Please bring back your regular fleece jacket you use to have. Why would you do away with it? This jacket is very unflattering!

This coat was not for me. I'm not sure who it looks good on. Although the quality seemed good, it made my bust and hips look huge while my middle looked square. I looked like a marshmallow.

I am returning it as it ran smaller than llbean's normal medium sized women's clothing. This is the first time that I need to size up. The reason that I am returning this item rather than exchanging it is that the inner lining is uncomfortable and restrictive. I think the garment interior should be adjusted for next season, I would definitely buy again if improvements were made

Everything I wear is an extra large. I have an LLBEAN in a down jacket that is an extra large and it fits just right. I am very disappointed. My husband accidentally threw the bag that the coat was in wrapped in away along with the box it arrived in so I can't return it or I would.
