This jacket is perfect for the fall. I was skeptical about the fleece because it feels stiff at purchase, but once the jacket has been washed it's so soft. I bought this as a gift for someone and for myself.

It's not as warm as I expected but it's still a comfortable, easy, stylish coat worthy of 5 stars.

This coat is just what I wanted! It is warm, has a nice hood, has the double zipper and is longer and covers hips. Plus it's cute too.

I love this coat and am looking forward to wearing it a great deal this winter. It is very soft and warm and should keep me cozy on winter walks. I love the fact that it has a hood, too. It's an attractive color as well.

This jacket I am sure will be toasty warm during the coldest months of winter, but the problem for me was it is structurally very heavy. I suspect my shoulders alone would be very tired with the materials weight.If that isn't a bother then it's a great purchase, well made and lovely style.

I love this coat. It has been great so far for the not super cold out yet but too cold for a simple jacket season. I had purchased the XS first time and it fit, but I could not have gotten a sweater or suit jacket underneath. I returned it for the Small and that has worked out great and I've had many compliments on it the few times I've worn it.

This is a great coat. The length is perfect. It is very warm but not heavy/bulky.

Love this coat! I drove up to Freeport to try the coat on- it fits as I would expect (I normally take a 2x and this was perfect) and the quality is what I expect from LLBean!! I love the strong zipper and love that it is a 2 way so I can unzip the lower end when sitting/driving. I wore it to an evening family night on a chilly fall day and it was perfect. Happy with my purchase!

I am in love with this coat! I ordered the small (5'4" 140 lbs, 36C bust) and it fits perfectly - I love that it's long enough to cover my bottom and keep me extra warm. It's not really soft and fleecy, but that's okay. I'm thinking of ordering the ivory one as well.

This jacket is my favorite purchase of the entire year! I love the navy color and it's very cozy- a perfect fit! And I get so many compliments. Very happy with it. It going to be my go to jacket for many years.

Love this jacket! Ordered my usual size medium and it fits well. Kind of fitted but still room for a sweater underneath if needed. It's a warm jacket; Heavier and more substantial than I had anticipated. Great quality that is typical of LL Bean.

I'm 5'7" petite tall figure and so this coat does not hug my curves like the model. That being said it's still really cute and really warm. It's true that the way the garment is structured, the sleeves ride up a bit as you raise your arms. I always have long sleeves under, so it didn't matter to me. Great coat!

This is a warm coat! It does run a bit snug in the middle but is very comfortable.

If you live in a four season location, this is a great coat for spring or fall. Perfect for 40-60 degrees. I love to wear it when I hike with my dog, particularly in the early mornings when it is colder. I got it in brown, but I wish I had chosen a lighter color because there are a lot of bears in my area and a lot of hunters!! I should have gotten something colored lighter which would have also kept me safer on the road with speeding motorists. One comment about the look. If you are short and stocky, like me, it isn't a very complimentary look. Probably would look better on a longer and thinner frame. However, I am 57 and not looking for love...so I just love it!! Warm, cozy, delightful, big pockets are great.
