Nice and light, close fitting. Does make a bit of a rustling sound. Actually haven't worn it in rain yet, so can't say how it does.

This is actually my 2nd jacket. The first lasted many years and held up well until it started peeling at the neckline, which caused it to leak when it rained. You sent a replacement (Men's Med. because the women's colors weren't great) which I use when I sail in the rain. It, too, has been excellent in a downpour in our hot climate, but now it, too, is peeling at the neck and the label, which is taped in, is peeling off, as well. This jacket is not nearly as old as my last one was and it isn't worn terribly often because we don't get a lot of rain here. I love that I can roll it up and stash it in my sailing bag and it is otherwise in good shape. Help!

It works well in the rain but is very thin. I gave this jacket 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price. I had jackets many years ago exactly like this for 1/4 of the price, maybe even less. Prices have gone up but it is still overpriced.

It is a petite size but the sleeves are quite long.

This is my second LLBean raincoat. I believe the material is a little thinner than the first, but it's fine. Pretty color, too (although not as pretty as my periwinkle one)!

The fabric is great and it is certainly waterproof. I do like the plentiful pockets. As for fit, I am 5'9", 140 lbs, the sleeve length is perfect and it fits well across the shoulders but is a bit baggy otherwise. The fit is not as depicted on your model, it's much looser. This is OK for over a heavy sweater but too loose over a lighter shirt.

I purchased this to replace one that I had purchased almost 3 years ago that had a manufacturers defect. The new jacket, although the same size, seems to be cut narrower in the body which I find disappointing. I was also disappointed that I could not purchase the same color which was a granite/gray. Overall quality is good.

This is a lovely rain jacket, but the style is very fitted. I ordered the 2X so it would be roomy and fit over a warmer layer, but it was snug over a T-shirt. The cut is not for full-busted women. Decided I needed a regular jacket that can double as a rain jacket, so am sending it back rather than trying a larger size.

Comfy and water repellent! Wear something warm under it, and you're good to go. Great pockets. Just wish the sleeves were one inch longer.

Perfect for travel, just roll up and go. I love the bright blue color and waterproof feature, but I wish LL Bean designed the jacket without the velcro zipper flap closures. The 5 velcro sections to match up are time consuming. Do away with the velcro, maybe add a few snaps instead?

Loved nearly everything about this jacket - size, style, fit, color. I ordered a large because I prefer loose-fitting jackets. The style is great and I would've given it a 5 instead of a 4 if the material was a little softer and not so stiff.

Excellent in the rain. Lots of pockets. Can get a little warm when worn indoors.

I really like it but the color was not exactly what it seemed online. Fabric also is very lightweight - not a problem (yet) but I bought a similar coat from LLB a few years ago and the inside lining peeled off.

Like the fit and the color and the velcro at the wrist. Oh, and the generous pockets. Don't like the fact that it's NOT lined. When you're wearing a top that's sleeveless, the jacket feels cold and sticks (clings) to your skin!

Color is true to photo (an earlier review mentioned that the sage is an uglier shade of green, but maybe that was a bad batch). Me: 5'3", curvy, 160 lbs. I originally ordered a petite large, but it was huge on me. The bottom hem was so wide that I could have been pregnant with twins and worn it. This surprised me since many of the reviews say buy a size larger. Either that's just for the regular sizes or they got the factory to start making them bigger. I exchanged it for a medium. The medium fits just right, plenty of room in the chest (C-D cup), even with a sweatshirt on. The only thing I don't like is that the sleeves are indeed long. And like others, I'm questioning whether the quality is really worth $99, though I bought it 15% off. But it will suit my needs, and the color is nice.

Very nice jacket and light weight but upper arms are snug and snug thru shoulders. Won't be able to layer clothing with this size. Reordering in a 2x.

Very nice jacket I expect to wear a long time. Runs small, so order a size up for wearing over a fleece or sweater. I wish there was a reflective strip or spot on the back for visibility in the dark. Lightweight and flexible material..

Great raincoat. Good quality, lightweight, and rain-tested waterproof. The new design for the hood strings works really well--they are tucked away in a kind of fabric tunnel and pop out lower down below my collar bone where they can't fly in my face. My only suggestion for improvement would be to reduce or eliminate the velcro closers on the front flap. I walk every morning and find the velcro annoying because it catches on my gloves. I think your old version with a snap on the bottom was better.

This is the second time I have purchased this jacket. This newer one is longer than the old model which is a big plus! It is cut a bit narrower so I moved from a small to a medium and am happy with the sizing. My problem with my old jacket and this new one is the hood. When you put the hood up it falls in your face and blocks your vision. I have to turn up the brim in order to see and it is quite awkward. I wish this would have been improved.

My wife wears Petite XL, but when she tried this on it was Very Very tight (Like For and Hour Glass Figure) She then went by the Size Measurements posted here on LL Bean and she then order the same Jacket in a Regular XL, and it is a nice fit, So what ever you do check your size.

I haven't had the occasion to wear the jacket yet. I ordered the yellow and love the color. It looks to be WELL made.

The video doesn't do a good job of showing how to pack the jacket. You have to open the front zipper, put your hand inside the left pocket and pull the inside of the pocket to the outside of the jacket. You'll then see a tab on one side, which is only on the inside of that left pocket. Keep gently pulling the jacket through the pocket opening. As the entire jacket comes through, it all folds itself into the mesh, which becomes the bag. When you're done, you can close the pocket's zipper, and you have a compact bag with your coat inside it. Not the easiest thing to figure out, but I was determined. I have an overseas trip in my future, with everything going into one carry-on. I like the green color I chose. I sized up to give extra room for a sweater or light jacket underneath, and it's perfect. Just got it today, so I can't say if it's waterproof. I needed something lightweight and packable. It fits both those requirements.

I like this jacket, but a bit disappointed that I can't figure out how to stuff it into the self pocket. I got instructions from customer service but the pocket zipper (stuff jacket into top pocket bag turned inside out) is then inside out. Has anyone tried to stuff the jacket into it's pocket?

Too small given the size guidelines. I don't like to pay for shipping back even though getting the same jacket just in a bigger size!
