This thing is WAY too big. I can see how it could be cute in an oversized kind of way, but that's not what I'm going for - I actually want it to fit. I'm keeping it because it would be a pain to return and because I love the color and style. I wish LL Bean would offer the other anoraks in the same color scheme and style. It's lightweight but I haven't had an opportunity to test it out, yet.

This jacket is a great, versatile layer. I've worn it to a casual dinner, work, hiking, and as an outer layer for spring skiing (Really warm, waterproof, and wind-resistant). All-in-all I love the fit. The small fit (Athletic build), but I got a size up so I could wear it outdoors with layers underneath. The reason I gave it a three was because there are a lot of threads pulling out at the seams, mostly around the band in the front and around the zippers. I would expect better quality and not as many pulls. They aren't unraveling the coat quickly, however, they appeared after only a few times wearing it. Kinda bummed, but it still can be used.

It just got delivered today. I tried them on and the left hand side hand didn't align perfectly. It felt so weird to move hand while wearing it . Definitely return :(

Very pretty but not the easiest getting on and off. I'm 5'8" 139 lbs and ordered the medium. Felt it could have been roomier. I returned

Really cute, unfortunately the sizing seems off. The XXS Petite was too large and too long still. Sizing needs to be addressed.

It fits great and looks great on. Wore it tonight at a concert while it was raining and definitely not waterproof, at all. Soaked within10 minutes. Should not even be advertised as a rain jacket but more like windbreaker.

Did not like the design of this anorak. Pulling it over my head to remove it also pulled my shirt up. It looks nice, though, and the fabric is of a good weight.

Its nice to look at, but this jacket and other clothing product's run short in length on sleeves and body. Most clothing items must be purchased larger than you normally would wear.

I absolutely love the looks of this jacket, but it is NOT waterproof! I wanted to look cute while delivering my rural mail route but I had to switch to a carhart rain jacket that actually keeps me dry.

Boxy cut, hard to use comfortably with waist pack. Bulky. No shape, just square.

Stylish Anorak. Not enough room for freedom of movement. Need something with a full zipper

The moment rain fell on my shoulders, the fabric stuck to my shoulders underneath. I walked to my car across the beach boardwalk, and got to my car, my tank top underneath was soaked. It is not water resistant in any sense of the description. It's nice looking.

Very thin material. Also get one size smaller than you wear. This runs really big.

Wore this jacket for the first time and found the interior of the pouch pocket to have unfinished seams with many loose threads. I'm afraid it's just a matter of a few wearings and the pocket stitching will be completely gone. Do love the color.

Been looking at getting a lightweight rain jacket for the summertime for a while and thought this would be perfect. Great fit gorgeous colors. Amazing pocket locations. Do not wear this in rain!!! The water goes right through to your skin and shirt and your soak in seconds.

Very disappointed in the color! The teal is dark green the aqua looking color is really navy and what looks coral is dark rust. It will work but really loved the colors in the photo, not real colors!

I received this as a gift and was so excited to use it. I love the colors and how it is compact. However, please read the description carefully as this is more of a windbreaker for layering, and is NOT waterproof. During a light rain at first the water was beading up and running off the jacket, but after a few uses the water soaked right through onto my skin and clothes.

I returned this. I was unhappy with the weight of the jacket. I did like the color pattern but the overall quality was no where close to the old one that I had that lasted forever.

Pros: 1) The style is super cute! 2) It packs easily. 3) The fit is perfect! Con: The fabric is scratchy and uncomfortable on the inside!! I was under the impression that it would have a soft liner. I was hoping this would be the perfect for a spring, summer, fall layering piece but the fabric on the inside is really uncomfortable on bare skin. I knew if I needed to wear it over a tank or short sleeve it would be too uncomfortable so I chose to return it. I was super bummed because I really wanted to love it!

This is the only LL Bean product that I'm not satisfied with after 20 years of purchases. Also bummed I didn't know the return policy has changed as I purchased this coat last October and only just tonight was able to wear it. Before I list the pros and cons, let me preface by saying I've never lived anywhere that a semi-raincoat would be useful. In Florida, Chicago, Colorado, and now South Carolina, it either rains or it doesn't, there is no "light drizzle". I guess I didn't pay attention to the description and assumed this was a light weight raincoat. This evening there was a light rain, perfect time to try out this coat. Walked the dog for a few minutes and I felt water pressed against my back. A few minutes later, water was seeping in through the arms, drenching my sleeves. I thought maybe this was due to not fully closing the zipper, but it seeped through the material. Major con, not even water resistant. The color scheme is cute, but on, I look like a hotdog (mustard pocket, green center piece, red arms). That coupled with an oversized waist made this less than flattering. But I care more about function and realized the larger waste allowed room for the dog waste leash and will fit over my rock climbing harness. The yellow is visible at night and on mountain/forest hikes and could potentially serve as a "help" flag. I like the oversized hood as I often wear helmets (climbing, biking, skiing). The side flaps bother my face but the strings are long enough to tie back behind my head, pulling the hood away from my cheeks yet still allowing full coverage of my head and face. The jacket is by no means warm and it doesn't feel wind resistant, but is a great weight for hot summers. Overall, I find this jacket to be useless for now but I will still attempt to find the perfect drizzle and warm temperature day to wear this. Upon returning from my walk this evening, the middle of my back and arms were wet. My head, shoulders, front, and rump all remained dry. Bean, your other jackets have served me well on rugged climbs and 14er hikes, go back to making clothes for the real outdoors, pretty please. Or state more clearly what the product is intended for. (Ps, water resistant typically can withstand a normal rain shower.) Still love ya, though!

So disappointed. The jacket is basically a nylon shirt. The nylon is VERY thin and feels like a cheap tent. I work outdoors and I'm afraid to wear this in the field because it feels like it will tear the second it touches something. The cut of the jacket is also off and seems to balloon out around the waist. For the price, this should be much nicer. Very disappointed in the quality of this LL Bean product and I feel misled. It's my own fault I didn't read the material but the image looks like a canvas material, once received I double checked and realized it's nylon so that is a big bummer. I admit my error; however it definitely looks far more sturdy in the picture.
