I love this garment. Lightweight but protective and great for birding or just walking in the morning! Love it!

Absolutely love the fit of this!!! The color is everything I wanted it to be.

I had a 35-year-old anorak I bought at L.L. Bean years ago and the styles had changed so much, it was too boxy but I loved it and got so much wear out of it over the years This one was more streamlined, longer and narrower fitting with tapering at the waist I bought the extra small and I am 5 foot four, 100 pounds. There is plenty space enough to layer clothes underneath it But it also looks streamlined with only a T-shirt underneath. I also like the updated fabric, it is softer than the older anoraks I love the look of it and I absolutely love the color!

I never buy an XS but fit me perfectly, XS petite. I want it for spring and cool summer nights or on the water. Someone (an outdoorsy person) once told me an anorak is supposed to be tight squeeze to get in to, so this size requires me to do more maneuvers to get in to it. but I still have room and plenty with a light long sleeve, t-shirt or even a tight fitting cashmere sweater, which is exactly what I'm holding on to this for. the pockets and hood will allow me to roam about the urban wilderness with ease and confidence. I got the teal color with green and maroon, so it looks substantial and not like an ordinary pullover. The sleeve cuffs are perfect length, and the elastic is not too tight. So the sleeves will be on shorter side when I ride bike, but I can't lift both arms and not have the jacket pull up with it. I picked petite size in order to get a shorter length. With the side pull strings the anorak can be cinched to stay on your hips or tucks under and stays nicely. Feels very comfortable sitting around the house and also feel prepared to step out in to the elements as I'll be protected if I need a hood!

I love this anorak! First of all, purple is my favorite color! Second, it's a nice weight to wear over a shirt if it's a little chilly. I am a high school teacher and my students have given me so many compliments! Now I want another one!

I love this anorak . People keep asking me " is this an OLD LLbean or a new one ?" And fair enough , I had an insulated one, 30 or so years ago - so the question is valid . Love it . Great fit for someone 5'2 . Sleeves are perfect length .

I bought this anorak for my sister, who absolutely loves it. The colors look great on her, it's comfy and roomy without being too baggy or boxy, and the generous pockets are an added bonus. It's lightweight enough to be worn on its own, but can also be layered over a fleece or sweater. She plans to take it with her on outdoor adventures this spring and summer.

Fit perfect so you can were something under it. Very lightweight good for spring, summer night and fall. Live the colors.

amazing coat!!! I love this jacket. The colors are so nice. I'm 5'4" 130 pounds and the small was perfect. It has string ties on the sides that pull the coat it to shape around my waist.

I'm so glad I bought this. I wear it several times a week. Washes up well, air dries quickly and is super comfortable. Will buy another soon! Size down for a more fitted look.

This garment far surpassed my expectations. Very well made, the fabric is sturdy but not stiff, drapes well and has a nice form to its shape. It has an exotic flair and look to it. The size runs a little small and the XL is roomy enough but not floppy. I am delighted with this addition to my wardrobe. I purchased the green/orange/burgundy palette and the colors are stunning! Highly recommend and so glad I chose this one.

This jacket is so beautiful. I have had it in my cart for over a year, praying it would go on sale and it finally did. It is absolutely stunning! The colors are so vibrant and I love the pockets. It's more of a light jacket for spring/fall but if I could wear this jacket everyday, I would. 10/10

I love a pull over jacket and this one is so handsome. I love the fit and the colors. And the trim is beautiful too. It is perfect when you need a lightweight jacket in the pacific northwest. I am 5'4" and 160 lbs. I debated between the medium and large and the medium fits well. A great find.
