Perfect jacket for hiking especially in the PNW area!

I have worn out two of these! My grand daughter borrowed mine now so I ordered her a new oone!

I just returned from the coast and this classic coat was perfect for the foggy, chilly evenings. It washes up perfectly and looks great.

Bought this for a trip to the foggy Oregon coast. Great for hiking and walking on the beach. Large pocket for shells and rocks.

I love this design! Reminds me of cooler beach days growing up on the Coast.

I love my anorak with the 2 big pockets that hold everything I need. I have a black anorak from years ago, and it's still in perfect condition!

I wore this jacket on a recent rainy trip and loved it. The pockets were big enough for my phone, camera, glove, and small umbrella while I needed my hands for something else. I wasn't stuck in a prolonged downpour, so I can't speak to it's efficacy in such a scenario but this kept me dry in the rain. I was surprised at how warm it kept me without having a layer underneath, too. I also loved that it folds into itself for stowing away neatly into a bag. My only recommendations would be to size down if you need a more fitted look or size up if you intent to wear bulky layers underneath. As is, this is the perfect jacket to wear for early mornings, early fall, and late spring.

This anorak is a MUST HAVE if u adventure in the outdoors!! Lightweight and quick drying it's always in my gear!!

This is a perfect pull on waterproof jacket for summer or popping over a sweater in spring/fall. The length hits my lower hip. And the big zipper compartment in the front is big it can hold whatever you'd want to take out of your bag and hide from the rain.

I love my jacket. I'm glad I sized up. I can wear clothes under it and not feel like I'm suffocating.

Like the look and fit - classic and versatile. Haven't worn in rain yet, but plan to use often sailing, and other casual adventures.

I love L.L. Bean Anorak's. This is my second one. They do run a touch large. I bought an XS and it fits well even with a thicker layer underneath

Light weight jacket I was looking for for gentle rain or drizzles. I have a Barbour wax coat for heavy rain but that get hot, this gives me the perfect alternative in warmer weather. And I love the pouch pocket for my phone and wallet. I did size up because I like things roomy and it looks fine.

My husband and I each purchased the Mountain Classic Anorak about 4 years ago and it still looks like brand new! This is the most versatile piece of clothing I own. I wear it year round and layer as needed. It is so comfortable and protects from wind and rain; it packs up small to take it where ever I go. The front kangaroo pocket is great for travel to keep passports, keys and money and it is safe from pick pockets- unfortunately our other family members did not have this jacket! They actually came back to the USA and bought one too! This is a great purchase!!

An all around classic for a stroll through the woods or an early morning walk on a Maine beach.

This is the perfect rain gear to travel with. It is very light but covers from head to hip. There are three large pockets, one with a zipper.
