I am thrilled with this coat. Really comfortable, has lots of pocket space without making it feel bulky and kept me dry. Get it!

This anorak fits well and gives me a place to stash my phone and lipstick and readers and sunnies. It is a very flattering cut and love the durability.

I'm 5'4" and 125 pounds - wanted a little room, so I ordered a small. I must have about six of these - tie-dye blue, orange, a couple of different color blocks. This new black one replaced my well-worn black one, which I will continue to wear! Love these! (And for winter, I have a collection of the quilted anoraks!) All great, quality pieces that can be used year after year. Love the Bean Boots too - five pair in my collection.

My daughter loves the mountain coat. So I ordered her another one in a different color. Then she order 3 for all of her daughters. love the look

I have 3 of these and they are great. I ride bikes and if it's windy or rainy the hood stays up when zipped all the way up. Perfect hoodie for rain or light wind.

I love these Mountain Classic Anorak! Great for walking in fall weather, spring weather and just a light cover in summer when it cools off in the evening or for entering an air conditioned restaurant. The fit is nice and roomy, length is great even with petite to fit my arms and doesn't hug my curves.

Perfect lightweight jacket for fall and spring. It even repels the water in light rain, and blocks the wind.

This anorak is absolutely wonderful! I love all the pockets it has, especially the one in front that zips. It fits very well, and the length is great I normally wear size 8, and the small fits me perfectly. I'm 5'4", 120 lbs. It's great for cool or rainy weather. I'm so glad I bought this! It's perfect!

I bought this for my cousin as a birthday gift. I have the male version and she has the female version of this jacket. I told her it's excellent protection against rain and wind and extremely handy because it will always provide a safe place to hold your wallet. She enjoyed it immediately as I did mine when I bought it in the past. A great product which is very practical and attractive with almost any outfit.

I purchased this pullover for my recent family trip to France, Germany and Switzerland. It was absolutely perfect for the rainy weather we hiked in! It has a comfortable cut, hits right below the butt. Generous hood that keeps the rain out. I love that there's a big pouch/pocket along with a zippered pocket! Very handy! Easy light layer that keeps you comfortable on cooler hikes, or just exploring in town! I am a size 12 or Large, with wide shoulders and the large fit me perfectly!! Would highly recommend! Easily layered for more warmth.

Sizing is correct. I like you can easily pull it over your head and has a big zippered pocket in front.

It rained the day the package arrived and I couldn't be happier to try it out immediately. it was a little more snug than I was expecting but still super comfortable and lightweight which is perfect for texas.

I still have an old LLBean Classic Anorak in periwinkle from the late 80's. The fit is a little more relaxed but super comfortable. Finally, black was offered and style is perfect for everyday misty or light rain days. Enough room for a cashmere top and light puffer vest underneath since. Great hoodie that covers the face better than the old one when cinched tight enough. Perfect large front zippered pocket that holds a lot. Can fit large cell phone, pack of tissue, flat wallet, gloves, thin scarf and a small snack. If necessary...can hold a water bottle temporarily. I'm 5', 114 lbs and purchased size 6. I probably could fit an XS for a tighter fit.

I purchased this anorak for a spring trip to Europe, when I knew it would be rainy and chilly. This anorak met my expectations. I wore it every day. It kept me warm and dry, but I did get a little damp when I was walking through a late day heavy downpour. Highly recommend.

It's perfect! I'm 5'5 130lbs and got a S. It's roomy which is what I wanted. I love the black, the pockets, zipper pouch and details. It's lightweight, great for when it's not quite cold enough for a heavy jacket.

Sized up for a generous fit. Will be perfect for travel since it is packable and lightweight. Love the hood.

I love this jacket!! I have several other Bean jackets but this is my new favorite. It fits just right -may be a bit loose which is fine for me. It looks great with jeans & with other pants,too.

I have taken this jacket on so many trips! It's my go to! The pouch pocket is perfect for stashing my phone & a small purse when boarding a plane, so that doesn't count as a personal item. It folds up into itself, makes a little pillow on the plane. It is wind repellent and also keeps the misty rain off me. I layer it over a fleece or sweater and it is so warm! I have worn it over a sweater in Arctic Svalbard Norway. I have worn it on Pikes Peak. I wore it in San Francisco and exploring the fabulous west coast. Wore it in Vancouver. I wore it to the Badlands and Custer. Concerts at Gillette Stadium. Wore it to explore Rocky Mountain National Park! It was a perfect option for an Alaska cruise and hiking in Denali! This jacket is so fantastic. I have seen other travelers wearing it too. Its also perfect for walking my dog or everyday life. That front pouch works great for when I don't want to drop my phone while taking photos, or stashing something for later. Buy the jacket! You will find so many uses for it. And it is holding up really well! Over five years old and it is still perfect. I almost wish it would break so I have an excuse to buy another. So many photos of me in the blue anorak.

Great weight, not too heavy, not too light. Really nice fabric with a smooth feel, rather than the typical nylon. The neck zipper is long resulting in a roomy opening for putting on or removing. It also has a generous sized pockets one with a zipper closure and another with a left and right side opening. I wore it to a soccer game on a very windy day in the midwest and it was perfect.

This is the second one I've had. First one 10 years ago. Perfect jacket to travel in. Everything you need can go in front pocket for ease and safety. Fits perfectly.

My late husband and I have purchased this anarak since the 1970s. They stopped selling them for a few years. I'm thrilled they're back! You will want one in every color!
