I purchased this for a kayak trip, and recommended it to everyone! The hood was perfect in the rain and the pockets are very roomy. It not only was perfect for my trip, but will be used in so many other situations. Overall - fantastic!

I love this jacket! Almost all light weight jackets are made of materials that don't breathe, make me sweat! Can we get these with full zipper-fronts? Please more!

This is an extremely well-made windbreaker. It is lightweight for easy packing. The zippers are high quality, no puckering, with an easy and smooth pull. It falls at the lower hip which works great for me. The sleeve length also is good for me. I am 5'5", 140lbs, 38" bust and size Small fit perfectly with some room for a shirt and safari vest underneath. The hood is soft so when not in use it lies flat against your back. The front zipper zips up slightly above my chin. This means the hood really stays in place when in use. I bought the olive color and love it. Haven't worn it "in the wild" yet, but all aspects of this anorak appear to be just what I needed.

One of my best purchases yet from LL Bean, light weight, water resistant and a perfect fit. Love everything about this jacket. Buying the mens version for my husband! Quality is top notch!

I bought this because I needed a hooded lightweight waterproof windbreaker with pockets that was roomy and covered my hips. This perfectly met all the criteria and is comfortable as well. It is sporty enough for the suburbs and the beach. Highly recommend!!

I love the look of this olive anorak, I want to get it in more colors. I have gotten so many complements. It is great over a sweatshirt or even a t-shirt. This has been my best purchase through LLbean thus far and I hope you guys come out with more colors.

This jacket is great. Super warm and keeps the rain off. It does run large. I'm 5'6" 125 and bought a small, it looks like I'm wearing an adults large sweater. I did read that it ran large before I bought it but decided to stick with my normal size as I bought this for fishing and wanted room underneath for a sweater for extra warmth. I wear this all the time and just bought another one in a different color.

This jacket is the perfect addition to my wardrobe! I'm always unsure if I should buy the medium or large. I'd read the other comments regarding fit before deciding on the medium and it fits just right! (I'm 5'2", 140 lbs - bigger on top than bottom)
This is the perfect wind breaker for spring walks in New England. I love the look too. I even got a compliment from my 16-year-old son!

I just can't say enough about this jacket - I'm more than pleased with it! I ordered a medium, somewhat unsure if it would be the right size or not, as I tend to be more of a small. However, the medium is perfect, if I need extra layering. It's also perfect, if I don't need something a little heavier underneath. I got the dusty olive and it's a beautiful shade - get compliments on it, every time I wear it. The material is great, too - very soft, and quiet when you move, unlike some other windbreakers I've had. I got caught out in a light rain, and the water just beaded up, and although I was out in the rain for about half an hour, I stayed nice and dry. I have to agree with some of the other reviews - more color options would be great!

LL Bean classic anoraks are a best buy. I have owned 3. One for every ten years of my life since I was a kid. If you line dry it, you'll get 10 or more good years out of it. The kids anorak I bought was passed down through 4 kids and there is still not a single tear or rip and its waiting for the 5th kid to grow into it. I feel like sending it back to LLBean with baby unicorn tears and thanking them for creating a piece of clothing that lasts for over a decade for myself and my kids.

I was looking for a light jacket that I could wear during the fall and spring, that could also double as a rain jacket. This jacket is absolutely perfect. The detailing on the jacket gives the jacket such a nice look. The jacket is also comfortable to wear. I love how big the kangaroo pocket is! SO happy with this jacket!

super happy with this jacket. I'm 6'1'' and the arms are long enough! Great fit without looking completely shapeless and can easily fit over a slightly bulky sweater. Haven't tried it out in more than light rain/snow at this point but it's been a pro so far.

I was on the hunt for the perfect spring coat and loved the simple design of this jacket. It has the feel of a windbreaker with an updated style and cute leather accents. It offers light protection against rain but is not waterproof. I think above all, my favorite feature is the convienient kangaroo pouch perfect for stashing snacks on the go.
I'm 5'3" and typically wear a small, sized down to xs for the perfect fit.

This is a nice jacket and it is reasonably priced. It's very comfortable and the pockets are super huge. It's easy to get on and off as well. The sizes run a little big, but I like to wear layers so I don't really mind. Overall this is a good quality jacket and I am very happy with my purchase. If you want a nice, well priced rain jacket this is a good choice.

I absolutely love my Mountain Classic Anorak pullover jacket! It is light, comfortable and perfect for a spring walk or a casual day out. It has a zippered front pocket, perfect for putting keys or phone, as well as side pockets. Also has a hood for light rain. I plan on buying another one in a different color because I love it so much..perfect for walking, hiking or having a fun casual day wearing jeans!

I can't rave enough about the Mountain Classic Anorak.
When I saw it online, I immediately purchased and crossed my fingers it would be as great in person. It did not disappoint.
The fit is perfect, not too baggy/not too tight. It's breathable, repels water, great pockets.
The icing on the cake is the details. I purchased the Olive color at first and I love the earthy tones. They fit perfectly together along with the heritage logo.
Within a week I had 3 friends purchase the colorblock ones and I love it so much I plan to purchase the black as well!

This jacket is amazing! I am 5 ft 7, 140 lbs, and I got a size small. It fits perfectly it is very roomy in the stomach area and the sleeves are long which is perfect for my long arms! The texture of the jacket is light and airy, very breathable I love it more than I thought! I want it in every colour now! It is very boxy but still flattering!

This is a great light jacket for spring and fall and everything in between. It is wind resistant and light rain resistant (its not a rain jacket, but more of a windbreaker). This is perfect as we go into spring and insulated anything is just too much.
I know there is some issues with the sizing so I wanted to add my 2 cents. I am 5'4" and about 100 pounds (a little broad shouldered) and I got the XXS. Normally in LL Bean, I get XS. I actually ordered the insulated anorak at the same time in the XS, and they fit the same. SO SIZE DOWN LADIES!

This is so nice to wear with a tee or two. I purchased an XL but probably could have gotten a 1X. It fits tight @ my hips but I like the profile of it in my Mom jeans. I would buy over & over. I have yet to be out in any more than a light drizzle with it but I was pleased to remove for a quick dry once home.
