Nice jacket, beautiful fit but the insulation fill is so skimpy that this jacket is not good for any cold trips to the store.

The XL fit my husband's shoulders, chest and arm length, but it was too "blousy" mid-torso to waist. Needs to be slightly more tailored. XL is for tall and muscular/fit people too, but this presumed he would have a belly/gut in order to fit properly. Loved the colors, retro design, and thickness of the puffer part of the coat.

I loved the look and fit of the jacket. I was disappointed in that there's no insulation. I would need to wear a zip up or sweatshirt underneath for layering. There's literally two layers of polyester...that it!. Not sure why it's called a puffer type jacket. It's not even a good windbreaker. I truly loved the color and fit. Sadly, I'm returning it.

Great jacket but very thin. Should not be called a puffer if there's no puff.

I like the look but the coat is a little thin. I can tell that I shouldn't use the snaps on the pockets because if feels like they are going to rip every time I snap and unsnap. I lie LL Bean products and have a decent amount of pieces but this one fell a little short.

Ok product for the price considering I had a $10 discount on it. Already showing signs of wear and has only been worn maybe 10 to 15 times at most. Doesn't seem like it will last too long.

I bought this for my man (5'10", 160 lbs) in size L. The fit turns out to be really weird because there is no waist cinch elastic. This jacket has the waist cut wide, and since you can't cinch it, that means it kind of sails away from the waist at the bottom and a draft of cold air comes up from the bottom all the time. The rest of the jacket fits my husband's frame just fine, and sleeve length is right, so it's the correct size for him, just has this super wide waist circumference you can't tighten to keep out a draft.

Very very lightweight. There is almost no warmth to this jacket. It is basically a non waterproof puffy windbreaker that doesn't block the wind. It looks nice but a complete waste of money.

You'd be warmer in a simple hoodie than this jacket. It's thinner than most sweatshirts and has zero insulation. May as well be a windbreaker or track jacket. If you live somewhere with weather above 65F all year you'd be okay, but anywhere with actual Autumn and Winter forget it. You're better off getting a real jacket like an N3B or actual heavy down jacket.

I really wanted to like this jacket. I bought it in a medium which was too big on me, then returned it to exchange for a small. Loved the color on it, and the chest fit great, but the sleeves are still incredibly baggy, large, and loose. It fits like the sleeves were made for the size of a Large jacket. Decent quality, just don't know why the style of the sleeves are so big regardless of the size of the jacket.

The jacket was thin, flat and a disappointment considering the price I paid. I bought it for my husband for Christmas and was so ashamed, I couldn't wait to mail it back. I didn't even want him to see it or try it on.

I just opened the package and was shocked to see how thin and flat this jacket is. I have no idea how warm it could be, I guess I will find out when my husband gets a chance to wear it after Christmas. It looks like the insert to a warmer jacket. I do like the colors and style so I hope it works for some seasons here in northern Indiana.

I really really wanted this coat, but when I put it on, I was immediately disappointed. It's really tight in the shoulders and chest area, then it gets looser as it goes down. Maybe I got a defective one? Lots of room at the bottom of the zipper, then it got tighter the further up it went. Not usually how it goes on a guy with a bit of a belly

Nicely made, good fit for a guy who usually takes Small, but does not live up to its name. My first try of a "puffer" jacket - guess I'll have to try again. vm

Loved the look of this jacket on the website, both in color and how it fit the model. The colors on the website are bright, but they're much more dull in person. I was aware that it was a lighter jacket for a puffer, but like the review below said, it's much more like a windbreaker. There's really nothing puffer about it, as it just looks flat and sad, and there's no insulation in the collar. It's also far too large for how I like the fit of a jacket to be, but that seems to be the trend with L.L.Bean. It feels like they're prioritizing fit for the dad bod among us. Having said that, it seems to be quality made, just poor design execution.

Took nearly 8 weeks on backorder before it finally arrived. The design is cool but the torso is short and wide so it feels a bit like you're wearing a trash bag. The "puffer" term is a bit misleading. It seemed more like a windbreaker to me that probably wouldn't keep you warm below 50deg without layering. The pocket snaps were difficult but might've gotten easier over time. Wasn't worth it to me, returned.

The size L was much large than my regular L that I buy. It took about a week to come and when it did not git, I had to pay return shipping to send this item back. Never going to buy from LL bean again

Loved the jacket. Wore it a few times. Washed it after it got a little dirty. Followed instructions, and it came out ruined. Was able to return, but very bummed out the jacket was ruined within a month.

Looks beautiful, but is super thin and not worth $100, ever! Returned for refund. Went to Target and bought a nicer one for 1/3 of the cost.

I bought in a rush in June 2023 for an unexpected trip to northern Norway and would return it if I could find the receipt. At 50 degrees F with a sweatshirt and t-shirt underneath it provides no warmth. The jacket is nice looking but with some significant shortcomings. The exterior pockets are long but only about an inch deep so anything in the pocket falls out upon sitting. They do not have zippers or Velcro closures only 1 snap button. The snap is so tight that I doubt it will last 1 season without tearing right out of the fabric when trying to open. There is no inside pocket. All in all not worth half the price.
