First, a disclaimer since I have not had this jacket but a short time and have only used it once in a rainy situation. Typically, I like to wait about a year before giving a review. The fit is good and there are improvements from my old rain jacket from Beans. I like that it zips up and also has velcro on the sleeves for a tighter fit instead of elastic. I was out in a heavy rain recently with it and I stayed dry.....that is good. I appreciate that I don't have the pullover type like the last one which was great and lasted 20 years. There is a protective lining that is also a big improvement over the old nylon model. I'm pleased with the purchase and think that it will serve me well.

Great lightweight rain jacket. I lost my last one and came back for another as this is the lightest one I have found with great features like adjustable wrists and plenty of pockets. Great for sailing as it allows for freedom of movement while keeping you dry.

Great fit. I wore it a few days ago and it kept me completely dry.

I wanted a light rain jacket for summer use. This is perfect for what I wanted it for. I've only worn it a few times so I can't attest about its durability, but so far I am pleased.

This was a present for my son who loved the fit and lightweight construction.

Love all the pockets especially the left front upper zip pocket. I have a boat and it's great while driving on the rain. If only it had 2 zip pockets in front

Worn LL Been rain jacket for many years! Light weight. Waterproof. This jacket, I have yet to wear as I just received itbut can tell I will not be disappointed. I have not been with Bean jackets!

I have been very satisfied with this rain jacket. I took this jacket out on multiple hikes in the rain and never got damp underneath my layers. Couldn't ask for a better rain jacket.

The jacket was a good fit. Medium is my size with LL Bean with some rare exceptions. I am almost always pleased with what I ordered from LL Bean!

This jacket is just what I wanted. Its lightweight, well made, fits well, fabric has a nice feel to it, I expect it will last, and its reasonably priced. In addition to hand pockets it has a chest pocket, something I find very useful.

Love this rain jacket from the moment I tried it on. It has a single zipper, which I'm very happy about - double zips are an absolute pain to start. Fit is just right, light enough to not get clammy in warm weather, and with room for a sweatshirt for when it gets chilly. And the hood is adjustable, not only around the front, but from front to back as well, with a Velcro strap to keep it from falling in my face. 100% satisfied with this purchase.

Good stuff

Bought two for my husband and son following our positive experience with the same exact rain jacket with the fleece lining. The quality is really good and I don't feel like the materials used are low quality at all. The sizing was perfect for my 5'10 son, but for my 5'6, 140 pound husband there was just way too much fabric in the back and arms so he returned for the small.

My husband needed an easy on/off rain jacket with a hood to walk two dogs at the same time. This met the criteria that was, keep himself dry while walking both dogs at the same time.

I fly a lot for business and wanted a light shell I could carry in my briefcase for summer rain showers. I can't keep up with an umbrella, so it's either get wet or have a light packable jacket. This one's perfect. Highly recommend it.
