I bought this thinking I would rarely use it. A week later we got a summer thunderstorm and I had to go outside - I put the jacket on and I could barely tell it was pouring out. I was super impressed. Glad I bought it.

Fine waterproof (hopefully) and wind proof jacket

I had my last L. L. Bean rain jacket for more than 30 years, so I felt it was time for something new. The his jacket is much lighter and definitely keeps you dry. I feel that this one is also made to last another 30.

Very light, repels all water. Somewhat warm but not too much

Great jacket once I got the size right. I had to size up to a Tall XL, so I can wear layer underneath wben needed. At 6'2" and 190 lbs. I usually can wear a large. Very good rain protection in recent thunder storms!

Just came back from a trip to northern Europe where it rained just about every day. This rain jacket kept me dry. The one thing I really liked was that it rolls into a very small roll which I kept in my backpack. Very satisfied!

My husband was very happy with this rain jacket. It fit perfectly (he is a tall man large). This is the size he buys in the carefree unshrinkable tee shirt. The jacket is nice looking, well made & light weight. Easy to pack. He wore it over a tee shirt. Purchased it in the grey shade easy to wear with other colors. I don't know what we would do without LL Bean for Tall sizes. Thanks LL Bean!

Comfortable, plenty of room, doesn't get too hot when wearing it. Very packable.

The jacket is light and durable. Dry Well constructed The jacket is one or two((if you are layering) than I normally wear

I wore this jacket for several hours of kayaking in pouring rain in Alaska. I remained bone dry. I'm very pleased. It's light enough to use as a wind breaker but does fine against rain

My husband is happy with his rain jacket. It keeps him dry and looking great.

Haven't used it in the rain yet, but seems well made. Definitely order larger than usual I'm 5'11" and needed a 3xl!

Everyone in my family has this jacket. Love it, great weight, good pockets and easy to "stow & go" packs beautifully . Awesome jacket!

I got this jacket for a trip to Maine for fly fishing. It was great - kept me dry since it was raining, and kept me warm as it cut out the wind. I highly recommend this jacket!

Bought this last minute to wear to the PGA at our local LLBean in Victor, NY when all day rain was forecast. My husband loves it - comfortable, cozy, warm, sharp-looking (deep saphire/ blue), and looks great in the dreary weather. He also wore it on our recent trip to Maine - very light, repels the rain, and will be great for layering as the weather gets cooler.
