Jacket is trimmer than i would like. I ordered two; one red/orange and one blue. Don't like the cord zipper attachments; took them off. Don't like the drawstring on bottom; took it off also. Jacket is heavier than I had hoped for. I have previously bought similar jackets, Discontinued Model #291724, which I much prefer. I had commented earlier and suggested you bring back the discontinued model in more colors than originally offered. See picture below

Fleece was too small through chest and across shoulders. Ordered same size polo and fit perfect. I have had problems with llbean fleeces being to small. They have changed the cut of the fleeces. I have old fleeces on the same size that fit well

The coat looked great and fit but it shed all over everything even after washing it three times.

Fleece looks great, thicker than standard fleeces. But after wearing it once, it sheds everywhere. Washed it thinking that would help, it didnt. I wanted to love it, warm, great fit. But sub-standard materials used that wont hold up and sheds badly. I'm returning it.

I'm always between a M and L size and ordering an L fit me just right in the shoulders but was neat and tapered at the waist. Sleeves are a bit long for me but ok. I wanted to love this jacket, but unfortunately it would not stop shedding fleece fibers. From just the ride to work my shirt and pants would just be covered with shiny gray fibers, even after washing multiple times. May just be a bad fabric spool, but sadly I'll be returning it.

He would not even try it on. I bought it because we were headed to Niagra falls and Iloved mine. I ordered what looked like burnt orange. He loves that color. When I opened it the color was a dull orange brown. Pretty aweful. So much so he did not want to even try or get another color.

My bad for not noticing this has no chest pocket, I bought this jacket and the vest and neither have the pocket I was used to having. It's also not very warm but good for early fall as the wind goes right through it. I would recommend it with no expectation of warmth below 55 degrees.

Lighter weight material than I expected but was warm enough anyway. Fit was acceptable. Elastic cuffs were too large and elastic was too weak to prevent breezes from penetrating the arms.

One complaint; The sleeves should be a bit wider in order to slide over a shirt without any binding.

I ordered the jacket in an XL Tall and the jacket hit right at my belt line. Too short for me so I returned it.

I have a older version - over 30 years old - that finally needed replacing. The old one was made of Polartec 200, which apparently is no longer made. That's too bad, as this version just doesn't measure up. On the positive side, there are some nice little touches on this jacket that you don't see on other brands. However, I don't find myself grabbing this jacket as much as i want to. The fabric has a cheaper feel and tends to grip layers beneath it, making it a real pain to layer. Oh, and one more thing, why make this jacket ONLY in a "slightly fitted" fit? That would be ok if wearing over a t-shirt, but what if you want to wear it over a flannel or chamois shirt? I find it hard to layer over anything substantial. Too bad.

Bought three of these last year in the nice heavy fleece and expected this jacket to be likewise. Unfortunately, the fleece is just as light as everyone elses - not a killer, but a disappointment. Wooden dangles on the zippers are a busy, unnecessary feature, but, again, not a killer. Good jacket, just not as nice as last years.

I .. like the others .. found that this jacket sheds fiber. i also found that the jacket is cut much slimmer than usual .. especially in the arms and across the shoulders. This prevents you from wearing anything of substance under it and it restricts movement. I guess it is the new style for LL Bean but not for me.

Without the garish logo 5 stars but I really hate the large bright LL Bean logo on the front on these fleeces (and other outdoor garments as well). I don't care to be a walking billboard for LL Bean (or any other corporation). At least in the past the logos were relatively inconspicuous. Now they're the brightest item on the garment. If this is going to continue I'm going to have to find another source. Definitely a disincentive to buy.

Comfortable jacket in every way except that the material (recycled fleece) sheds. Advise to turn the jacket inside out and wash before wearing to rid itself of pilling and shedding material on your undergarment/shirt. Good weight and fit for those early morning tee-times here in the Southwest during the late fall/winter months.

I like the jacket...but I ordered black....and the color is not true....in some light it almost looks dark green. I've had other Bean black fleece jackets and the color was true....not so with this

I'm a small guy (5'5", 130lbs). In the old days, LLBean's "Small" was pretty roomy, almost too big for me. In recent years, as they've pursued a more "fashion-forward" look, things are getting surprisingly slim and snug. This jacket is an example. Snug across the chest, small armholes, narrow sleeves--I couldn't wear it over a flannel shirt! The fleece itself is comfortable, and the jacket is good-looking. The fit just doesn't work for me anymore.

Followed washing instructions but shed a lot, even after the dryer. Not wearable unless I wanted to have it shed on clothes. Also concerned about breathing those polyester fibers when wearing it. However, it was very heavy weight and would've likely been warm.

Too much fabric considering size. Fabric too thin. Not warm.

Size is not accurate, is smaller than expected. Materials are thin and "pills" with limited use.

I have never had a 2XL tight on me. my body does not fit this cut/style i guess. Material 'grabs' any long sleeve shirt. Arms are not roomy enough to allow easy on/off. It will function as a summer layer. Maybe better as a pull over.

Beautiful and high quality jacket but too small for the size. I had to pay shipping and then pay for return. $75 purchase returned me $62. That sucks. There are similar choices online and retail stores with no shipping expenses as LL Bean. I will never buy from them again unless i am in a store but there are none in my area in CA.
