Stylish /fits well/warm, not hot/perfect for winter in Northern California

excellent quality fleece jacket ideal for three season warmth. Fit is great and it goes great over a sweater or sweatshirt. love the color and look. Highly recommended and will probably all I will need for winter here in North Carolina.

I love the quality and looks like a very nice jacket. Bought it for my dad just wish it was a darker green.

The color is as described. The medium fits perfectly and allows me to layer with an L.L. Bean flannel. This is also a great gift for anyone that loves fleece.

Just got this fleece a week ago, and it's been hard to take it off! It's warm, comfortable, well-made. And like the Bean's Classic Fleece I got a year ago, I know it will become a favorite. I would add that this fleece can work beautifully for women as well - particularly if you like a boxier cut and have a straight figure (narrower through the hips), as I do. I ordered a small: it's a little roomy, but with a turtle-neck or sweater under it, it feels great!

This is a great classic mid-weight fleece jacket, reminds me of one I had years ago. It has a good sturdy zipper. I like the fit, not too tight but snug enough to be layered under a heavier jacket or shell. Some have criticized the fleece as being too thin, but to me it seems to be standard 200 wt fleece, which is what I expected when I ordered it. I also like the retro L.L. Bean label, but for those who don't it can easily be removed as it is just sewn on.
