The vest is made of high-quality material. The fit is perfect. It has a high collar but it easily turns down, if preferred. The high collar is perfect for cold weather.

I have this vest from ll bean in three different colors. I love them all. Very comfortable and good looking.

I'm a instant fan of the Mountain Classic Fleece line after wearing this vest for the last few months. I even bought a sweater from the line. The material is soft but doesn't feel cheap or weak, it punches above its weight in warmth, is not loaded up with excessive amounts of pockets and zippers, and is perfect for over a button-up shirt on chilly walks or cold buildings.

The quality of these vests has improved. Nothing but superlatives from me concerning these vests.

I bought this for my husband who really likes vests instead of sweaters. I love they have tall sizes because even though he is very thin, he has a really long torso so the tall sizes that LLBean carry are perfect for him. He loves this vest and wears it often- so far has been washed once and looks great.

I bought this vest for my husband's birthday. Sometimes he needs something lighter weight than a down vest and it can substitute as a sweater, The fit is comfortable and is long enough for his 6'5" torso (I did order the vest in a tall). Workmanship is very good and the fleece is soft to the touch.

Purchased as a gift for my husband. Material is not as heavy as the LLBEAN zippered vest he has had for 20+ years! This one is a lighter weight but the cut of the vest is the same and he was happy to receive it. The color green is just lovely and the zippered side pockets, handy. My husband says it's comfortable and warm.

Vest is lightweight and comfortable. Perfect for fall and winter, I wear it all day, indoors and out. Warm enough to go from car to building and back, light enough to layer under a coat. Highly recommend.

I'm between XL and XXL. I opted for the larger size given the "slightly fitted" cut of the vest. It is perhaps looser than it could be for me, but I like this better than slightly too snug. I'm waiting for a couple of other vests in other colors, which are presently on back order.

My husband loves this vest. He wears it continuously since I bought it, usually over a long sleeved T. He was surprised it kept him so warm and comfortable, and he looks nice too. It is also of quality material and manufacturing. What luck!

True to size for my Hubby! This vest kept him comfortable on our last adventure with temps in the 30's and his usual LLBean outerwear. He likes the gray color especially and he says good pockets too!

This is perhaps my 3rd vest and one I use for "dressy" occasions, sometimes with a tie! My shirt size is large and I have found the XL vests to be perfect. Keeps me warm and I have the freedom to move better than the jacket (which I also enjoy). By far I get the best compliments on the vest and am always asked about the utility.

The vest has a nice cut about it, is very light weight yet warm and very comfortable to wear.

This fits very comfortably over a long sleeved polo or flannel shirt. It's the perfect weight to layer under a zip front sweatshirt on a 30 degree day. My wife commented that I've hardly had it off in the month that I've had it. "You must love that thing!" "Not as much as I love you, dear." "But it's a close second isn't it?" "Ah.... Yup"
