Nice warm Jacket. Light weight and rain resistant.

Runs large so we're exchanging the XL for L. Nice for tall guys with longer sleeves and jacket length.

Really enjoy the jacket. Sheds water, well insulated, and the high collar keeps wind off my neck.

This jacket feels like a jacket you've loved and worn for years, except that it's crisp and new.

This is my second purchase of this jacket. I spilled paint on my first one, which I loved and just had to have this jacket so, I bought another to replace the first one. I live in North Dakota and this jacket is perfect for most days up here. I will be ready for next fall and winter's weather!

Great early winter and late spring weight casual jacket. ( For the hardy folk could potentially use through most of the winter for casual wear.)Not bulky and very comfortable. Brought the tall in my size to get the lower portion of the jacket to drop a bit further below the waist. Nice, neat appearance.

I haven't had a chance to wear it but did try it on and it felt just like my first one which I bought around 10 years ago. It's still in great shape and I wore it everywhere. I out grew it and now I've got it's replacement starting next fall.

Surprised I needed a 2xl; usually wear XL in t-shirts but fits great! Doesn't look bulky, sleeves have knitted cuffs so they don't hang really long & keep cold air out. Also zippers on both side pockets & inside pocket too that's good for keys or wallet. Warm, perfect for spring & fall.

Just what I was looking for - an everyday wear jacket, nice enough for work but comfortable enough to be the go-to grab for any outing. This is a classic combination of windbreak outer shell and inner polartek liner, perfect for a wide range of conditions. While it does have Bean branding stitched in on the front, it is subtle and appropriate, unlike other Bean products that have over the top brand advertising that is out of step with the Maine ethos that Bean (used to) aspire to. I was glad I went to a store to try this jacket on since I ended up needing a larger size than I would have ordered (large vs medium). I can wear it alone or with a sweater underneath for colder days.

With Spring come regular weather changes, like every 10 or so minutes. Sometimes a squall even comes up. My previous jacket for such occasions had reached the END of it's lifespan, and LANDed in the trash. I sought a replacement for that jacket, but alas couldn't find the old model still being produced by that purveyor. So I came to Bean, and found exactly what I was looking for. The jacket fits true to size, and will serve as a nice three season coat, though I think it will be best as a Spring and Fall jacket most of all.

Good quality jacket for the money this is the 3rd one I've bought. They keep you warm in the winter.

This is a really nice "between the seasons" jacket. A little bit wind breaker, good warmth without being too hot.

Got this for my elderly, beloved dad. He's not what I'd consider an extra tall man, and he's really skinny, but his last jacket we got from here, we got the regular sizing, and his backside kept getting air to his back, when it's been chilly. ENTER THE "TALL Medium L. L. bean jacket". He loooovveess this jacket! He no longer gets wind blown up his backside! He loves this burnt orange too! We are happy he is happy! He's 82 & active, and we plan to only buy him Tall Clothing from you guys from now on!
