Second pairs of these rain pants I have owned
Toggle that held draw string around waist seemed like a weak link in design maybe belt loops would help.

So these what I call wind/snow pants are great for hikes in rain, snow. New England weather. Great design for fit n comfort but in past year the liner which makes these pants shell what they are are quickly flaking away. Tried to keep them in proper storage . But b aware these have issues

I wore these for the first time yesterday for a short hike in the rain. I was soaked.

Got these to replace his that weren't waterproof after a few years. These seem like they would hold up much better except that they are so long that the bottoms are shredded after a few months of wear. Inseam is 32". He wears 29". There is no way to adjust the length. Mine (also LL Bean) have velcro at the bottom to tighten around the boot to keep them up. One length fits all really doesn't work.

very thin, seemed cheap and not worth $100. Not Bean quality.

Useless when there are no pockets on each side, even for such high price.

I used to love LLBean outerwear, however, they decided to make the new rain pants with no pockets. I will have the regretfully return.

Unfortunately these do not hold up at all ! Husband wore these for 1 1/2 wks when it was raining at the barn and the bottom of the pants are all shredded! Quality of products has gone down hill but prices are still high.

There's a design flaw. Within the first 5 minutes out of the box, I got the zipper stuck in the flap that is supposed to prevent rain from getting in. And now that's it. Zipper is toast, pants are close to useless. Without the zipper, they can't be packed away. Should really have zero stars.
Disappointed,
