I like the fit for the summer, but it may be a little restrictive in the winter when I'm using layers. Also, the zips on the sides at the bottom don't go high enough to easily take them off while wearing hiking or particularly mountain boots. I also wish they had thigh zips! I like the lightweight fabric and the windproof/waterproof features and they are offered in a "tall" size which I need.

Good product. However the inner side of the pants legaterial has a high coefficient of friction, making the pants awkward to put on and take off. Otherwise good performance and price.

Nice pants. Very water resistant. I like the long zippers on the legs that allow you to slide them on over hiking boots. My one disappointment was the lack of side pockets. There is a zippered pocket in the rear, but they really need pockets along the side seams.

Does the job of keeping you dry. My only dislike is the zipper on the back pocket which can get caught in the material designed to cover the zipper. If not for that, 5 stars.

These pants are very waterproof, even in fog or cloudiness but because I am overweight in the belly, they do not fit snugly and tend to fall. These pants are for a man with slender to average build.

Pants fit well but could benefit from more pockets.

only one length, which is too long for me to adjust comfortably. Needs a fly for men. I have a rain proof jacket and parka with TEC treatment that are great and perform as advertised.

The Trail Model Rain Pants look well made with overlapped stitching at the seams, good zippers, and good waterproofing. This pair will get used. Pants look pretty sturdy for snowsports and rain.

Have yet to wear in a rainstorm. They do fit although they seem very lightweight. So for fit&finish, I give 4 stars.

Nice pants but my husband didn't want them because they had no pockets.

The pants are great when it comes to fit and keeping you dry, the biggest downfall is the lack of front pockets. You only have the one rear pocket. Very inconvenient.

These are lightweight and comfortable plus they fit pretty well except I think I will have a problem if I try to wear these over regular pants. Could hae been bigger?

My husband likes these pants. We needed something to keep out wind and rain and they look like they will work great. He has not used them yet but LLB usually always has great quality products that are reliable.

Very happy with the product. The only negative is that they don't come with front pockets. Why not? I bought these to golf in and it would be nice to have a front pocket for tees and divot tool.

I have been wearing a Trail Model rain suit (jacket and pants) for years (6 or 8, I can't remember). The pants and jacket that I am wearing now are replacements for the 1st ones that I purchased. The first set delaminated after the first 3 or 4 years and the pants had a velcro system to keep them snug around the waste that kept coming loose. The second set uses a new and improved lamination process and an elastic waistband that is a huge improvement over the 1st set that I owned. Now it looks as though there is a new version which sounds much like the set that I currently use. That's a good thing. Unfortunately the new design still doesn't have a zipper fly! That should have been a no-brainer!. Zippers on the jacket. Zippers on the pants pockets. Zippers on the pants legs but you still have to drop them when...well, I think you know when. At any rate, keeps me dry but it still bothers me that they have not incorporated a zipper fly in the latest version. Hello! Is anyone listening there at L.L. Bean?

This is an excellent quality rain pant but I ordered my normal size which is Tall X-Large and it fits more like a Tall XX-Large. It's very baggy and the waist and ankle elastic cinches are very cumbersome to operate.

Not super waterproof but works decently when paired with a good upper shell. Very thin material. Would probably not be good if hiking through high brush.

If only they had pockets, then they'd be 5 star pants. Had to return them because needed pockets.

There are no different inseam sizes. I have to roll over the waist band and the bottoms are still a little long. The pants are a little grabby on the inside especially if you don't have pants on underneath them.

No front pockets really disappointed in that I don't want to always wear shorts underneath pants for the price really no satisfied.
