I absolutely love these shoes. Super comfortable like walking on clouds and they're lighter than air! Also the gore tex is great, I've had other gore tex shoes that weren't anywhere near as good, got wet in the rain immediately. Whereas these, I went for a long hike in the pouring down rain and my feet were bone dry! Can't rate them highly enough

I have been using these since the spring on many hikes. They are light, have incredible grip and keep your feet without pain.

Love the color and style and really wanted to keep the shoes - but, there was no cushioning in the ball of the foot. Great shoe for someone who does not need more cushioning.

I was looking for shoes for trail running and hiking. Ive used them twice so faronce for running and once for hiking. Both experiences were great. The shoes performed well on wet rocks and concrete without any issues. I wear a size 9.5, and they fit perfectly with some space in the front. I love good quality brands, and I already have some jackets and pants from them. Im looking forward to buying more during the sales.

Received these last week and got to say so far love them. I've worn nothing else since I took them out of the box. The fit is super comfortable, they feel like you are walking on air. I have on only took part in a short hike in them so far but performance level was spot on. Not only that but they look so good I can wear every day and have even ventured into the office in them where I received many compliments. Only complaint so far is that the laces do tend to come undone if not really tightly tied - I have the same issue with almost every competitor book/shoe I have bought but would be a great fix if it could be improved.

I own three pairs of these from previous seasons. Needed to re-up and dropped by my local store to grab a new pair. When I picked it up, it was immediately noticeable that the new version is lighter than previous versions. Upon closer inspection, the 2nd density in the inner midsole has now been consolidated into the main density. in other words, this went from a more technical dual-density sole to a single density sole with less stability/pronation support, ostensibly to save cost. But the price isn't cheaper than it was. So now we're getting less for the same amount of money. It's a shame.
The upper feels slightly flimsier too. But it's the midsole I'm most annoyed about.

Spring time runs in Buffalo can be wet and slippy. These have kept my feet dry on two runs so far. Love tucking the laces in and the wider toe box! US sizing is off but once i found a pair that fit (3 sizes smaller than my Brooks) I love them.

Good shoe, keeps my feet dry and they are breathable. There is a lip on the tongue that you can tuck in the ends of the laces into so they don't snag onto anything, great feature.
I have wide feet and this shoe fit very nicely, though its a very neutral shoe, so I put my own insoles in.
I would have given 5* but the midsole came away from the heel within a week. Only came away a little bit and after a few weeks it had not worsened.

I was looking for a GORE TEX shoes that I can wear daily and trail running. My must have lists were comfort, GORE-TEX, stylish and lace free. This shoes is great and I love wearing it especially during the rainy days in Vancouver. I love the feature of hidden pouch to hide your shoe laces in the front tongue! Well designed

I usually trail run with Topo trail runners and found these shoes to numb my feet and not be wide enough for those that prefer a roomer toe box. I also think the material is somewhat subpar and shows compression in the sole after just one test run.
I wanted to like these but they do not work for my feet. That being said, I love my other arcteryx clothing.

Typically I wear only Hokas and On Running shoes, and so I hesitated to try these out. I was so pleasantly surprised! They feel amazing on my feet, look as stylish as the latest high end sneaker company drop and offer both flex and support. I love the bright orange color and will be looking out for more statement colors in the future.

I bought this shoe for trekking around the UK and it was spectacular. It was the only shoe I packed that didn't leave me sore, and I ended up wearing it exclusively. The tread works well on a variety of surfaces, even when conditions are damp. The width is MUCH improved over the Norvan LD 2's, and can now accommodate wider sizes. The GORE-Tex is not noticeable in cooler temps, but these did get warm in the heat of the summer. The 6mm heel-to-toe drop is steep for my preference for running, but these work great as a day-to-day walking/trekking/hiking/working retail on concrete for 8+ hours shoe.

These shoes feel delicious to wear. I gave them 4 stars because the arch support is minimal, and the shoe laces do not stay tied. But the feel is cushioned. Love the Vibram soles. Recommend sizing down 1/2 size. I definitely recommend, and hope these small issues can be addressed in the next iteration of these awesome shoes.

I was looking for a good light waterproof hiking/trail running shoes, unfortunately those are not waterproof at all. They are very comfortable and very grippy but in my opinion they are too warm to wear them durning a warm weather and cannot withstand even a walking on wet grass.

I previously owned a pair of Norvans (not Gortex) and loved how durable, comfortable and water resistant the shoes were. I could cycle in an onslaught of Vancouver rain and still have fairly dry feet afterwards. I recently purchased these Norvan GTX thinking that this would be an upgrade. The sizing is much boxier and wider - I went down half a size and still find that the front toe box is incredibly large. Wore them out in the rain today, and could feel that a damp feeling developed after 10-15 minutes along the top of my feet. I thought that my feet may have just been cold, but after another 30 minutes, I could feel a squelch under my arches. After an hour in the rain, I was basically walking in a plastic bag of water, and just poured the water out of my shoes when I got home. These are okay for a wet ground, but not for wet, rainy weather - so ~ 300 days a year in Vancouver.
