Loved these and was hoping to keep them, but Sorel continues to have "strap" issues with sandals this season. Multiple styles with straps that are too tight and don't give. Wore these in house working at my home office and after 2 hours had to take them off and strap marks left on top of both feet. Super comfy heel otherwise and loved the color. Do better Sorel.... I'm 0/2 this season and I own several Kinetic sandals or other wedges with no issue.

These are super cute but so uncomfortable. I walked around my house in them for five minutes and was already getting a blister on my heel. The strap that goes around the heel is the number one reason I returned them...the general discomfort was really disappointing. I expected more from Sorel.

I have become a big fan of Sorel heeled sandals. They are usually offer amazing comfort and let you be out and about with out every thinking about your sore feet. Sadly - to me these sole were literally hard as a plank and the leather strap around the ankle pulled so hard on my foot when I walked. To me - it was like fighting against my shoe to walk.

I was hoping these would be more comfortable. I like the way they fit. However, they walk a bit clunky. I can wear them all day but the top of my foot gets sore after wearing them all day at work. I have an office desk and I wanted to wear them more. I have worn them twice now and this morning I found myself picking different sandals. I don't think I can return now but I would if I could, I really liked the style.

Super cute shoe but the fit just wasn’t right for me. My arches are too high and there is no give to the straps on top of the foot aside from one of them. I sized up from an 8 to a 8.5 and it just won’t work for me. For the price I was also expecting a more comfortable foot bed. Sadly these will be going back even though I loved the green and black coloring.

This Sorel Joanie sandal is a little off.....the straps that run across the top of the foot should hold the foot nicely, but they're too thin, and stretchy, and not substantial enough whatsoever, to hold the foot in place and provide a secure feeling! Seems that the straps should be high-quality leather to do the job, not stretchy, thin fabric! Unfortunately, they're going back.

Returned them as soon as they arrived. The wooden part where the pieces came together/seam looked like it was splitting. Not smooth seam. Poorly made. Looked as though it would split any time.

I've had these sandals for just a few months, and the strap at the ankle has already broken. Very poor quality, and I definitely don't recommend. I'm trying to get in touch with SOREL to see if they will fix or replace the sandals, but I don't expect them to hold up much better the second time around.

I purchased the gum/chalk bcs I expected a uniform color/look compared to the other option. However, the actual product has a pseudo wood grain look instead of what is pictured on the website. I have a little bit of a wider foot but nothing drastic where I'd be forced to look for specific "wide" fit shoes. These shoes run extremely narrow. This fact is similar with their duck boots and other sandals. For reference sake: I wear various versions of the "Joan of Arctic" boots with no issues.
