I usually wear a size 7 but 7.5 in walking shoes, but the 7.5 was narrower and tight around my already narrow foot. Very uncomfortable and stiff. I used to love a style of Merrell I had years ago but sadly, they no longer make it. Too bad as I think Merrell is quality but their current batch of walking/running sneakers are just plain ugly except for this style, but it's too uncomfortable to wear. Returning today.

As forum reviews state, opening for foot to enter shoe is too small. Even with shoe horn, could not get them on. Design flaw. I bought these for Taichi. So, I cut the top on both sides, to make a shoe tongue, and got my foot in. They will do for my purpose but don't by Merrell on line, they are unwearable.

I had ordered a Bravada 2 WP in size 8 previously that fit great and are comfortable out of the box. These are difficult to get on as the tongue is attached to the shoe so It's difficult to slide your foot in such a small opening. The arch support is way different as well. Almost non existent. And the toe box is way more narrow. Going back immediately.

It took me at least 5 minutes to get each shoe on because the opening is just way too small--even wearing very thin socks and using a shoe horn. I will be returning them. They were comfortable once I had jammed my feet in, but I am not going to waste 10 minutes of my life every time I want to wear them.

The tongues is sewn into the shoe and very difficult to get your feet into the shoes. This is a flawed design. The shoe it self is nice but due to this issue had to return the shoes

I ordered a size up as these shoes run small. The problem is the opening is so small, I couldn't
get my foot in without cramming with a shoehorn! Returning sadly as I normally like Merrell's.
