Very comfortable shoe, dries quickly, no squeaking

I wanted to love these. I deploy frequently and wanted something that allowed me to walk over the rocks. Crocs are too wide for my narrow feet so these seemed like a great option. Unfortunately, each shoe of the pair I received seems to be different. The top edge of the back rubs significantly, only on my right Achilles, leaving a huge sore that is now bothered by other shoes. No matter how much I bend it back it continues to cut into the back of my ankle. Also, they do not mold to your feet at all. I've tried them with and without socks and they continue to rub in several places. Usually love all my Merrells but these were a big swing and a miss for my narrow feet.

Not this color at all, no white and none of the light turquoise they are a dark turquoise and not as comfortable as I thought they would be.

I returned them, they did not fit me well. I found the arch to be off for me which made them very uncomfortable. They were super cute, I was disappointed.

I sized down as suggested and they are still a little big. After the second wear they started to rub my heel uncomfortably on one foot.

Love these shoes except for the fact that the sizing is not correct (way too big must size down a lot) and even then the back destroys your heels. Must wear socks defeats the water shoe purpose.

I liked the arch support but unfortunely these shoes run large. Because they were loose fitting I rubbed blisters first wear.

Ordered my regular size, it was too big and wide. Had to return them. Quality was excellent, however.

Super cute but the back heel comes up so high it rubs on my Achilles and I get blisters every time I wear them. So disappointed.

ordered a size 8 (my merrell hikers are an 8) but these fit like a size 10. Over an inch of space at the toes

I ordered the black hydro moc, but they co.e as a black camouflag....I also fi d them two wide

I bought these because I wanted good footwear for paddling (getting in and out of the canoe in the water). However, the sizing is such that the 9 is too big but the 8 is too short (my toe touches the end). After wearing them for 5 minutes around the house I also know they would be uncomfortable on my feet, even if they were the right length. I need to return them.

Runs larger than described. Read a few reviews about blistering. I did get a few blisters because we hiked in the rainforest. With socks on it's comfortable but, using it as "water shoes" will definitely give you blisters.

Disappointed in my new water shoes. I got blisters immediately on both heels from trying to walk on the beach with these. They were comfortable until they started to rub badly. Not sure they were ever get packed again for a trip.

I have average width low volume feet, so these seemed like a better fit than the ubiquitous "alligator-brand" alternatives. I normally wear a 8W and according to the size chart and foot length measurement, I ordered a W's 7. They arrived and my feet (even in thick wool socks) are absolutely swimming in these shoes! About 1.5 cm. A W's 6 will probably be too long, too. Size at least two sizes down. I AM going to break my neck in these. As for quality, somewhat lower than expected. You can tell where the molds especially around the holes which aren't fully cut out. Eventually the edges will wear down, so I'm not too worried about that part.

I was so excited to order these and replace my 10 year old Crocs. I love how the moc fits, with the exception of ankle rubbing. The back rises just high enough that it digs into the back of my ankle with every step and has given me blisters. Even with socks, the back is at the perfect height to rub into that bend at the back of my ankle.

I wear an 8.5, so got an 8 my foot is nearly falling out. I'd exchange for the 7, but I think I'll still have an issue with the ankle cut out it's high and angled, so if you don't have thin ankles, this shoe won't work. It rubbed the inside of my ankle at every step. :( So disappointed because I need a shoe that can go from water to hiking. :(

Bought last year but developed a blister on heel .the. Heel cup is too high in the back ..many women have lower calf's thus shorter achilles.was disappointed as comfort was perfect otherwise..ski boots had same prob till they created boots for women many decades all other shoes, boots have fit perfectly

I wear a size 10 and these shoes looked like boats. I didn't like them at all. Returned.

These are comfortable, waterproof and fun bit they fill with dirt, sand and gravel as you walk, rendering them uncomfortable. Nice try, Merrell, but I'll keep waiting.

I dont consider the style of ths shoe a good aqua shoe. The sand and small rocks easily get it. Also, the top of the back of the shoe is very hard leading to blisters on my leg after one wear. Disappointed. On a positive note they are very sturdy.

I normally can't wear a Merrell women's size 11 (too small) but because some reviewers noted that these run large so I thought I'd try them. They're still too big but to avoid the hassle of returning them, I'll wear them with socks for gardening.

Outdoor gear companies think women want obnoxious colors. The mens line usually has colors I'd prefer, but how does that help? Please, for the love of god, make shoes, boots, socks, clothing in pleasant natural tones that women in 2020 are looking for. We comment on almost every new product asking for this. It's time to listen up! I'd buy these shoes if there was a nice olive, beige, dusty rose, warm grey...
