I have been wearing Moab hikers daily at work for more than 8 years. To my disappointment, this new version, Moab 3, has a noticeably more narrow toe box than all previous wide Moabs I have worn. I end the work day with my toes aching like I spent the day in heels. I found a previous Moab version on Amazon and they are perfect.

Was happy to see a new edition of Moab 3. I have a Moab 2 Gore-Tex that I really like and wanted a cooler shoe for summer. Ordered these in brindle/tea and am pleased to say that the color is a bit darker than what it seems on the website. The mesh is a sort of greenish and the leather is smooth and taupe. The midsole is not quite as soft and responsive as I thought it might be, but is still really comfortable. Put them on and went on a 3 mile walk with zero discomfort. I have a rather narrow foot and the Moab does a really nice job of securing ones heel while providing a sufficiently wide toe box. I tried another brand recently that just found offered womens size 12 about which reviews raved. Must say that I was disappointed. Putting on my Merrells was like putting on a pair of slippers by comparison.

I've worn Merrell's for years. The deep toe box is essential. I do wish they had a shoe a little narrower than medium but I love 'em!

I love them. They are the only shoes that I can wear all day and my feet dont hurt.

As i have a wide foot, finding proper fitting shoes is tough. These fit extremely well, and highly recommend them.

Comfortable wide width shoes. Enough room for arch supports. Back upper is a little straight and so show sometimes falls off, but otherwise comfortable on pavement, carpet, rocky terrain and snow. Not as grippy as I would like on snow, but I have metal spikes for that.

Great walking shoe, the only problem with them is they don't last as long as they used to.

I love Merrell's Moab's. They run a bit narrow so I have to go up 1.5 sizes and wear a wide width, but they are incredibly supportive and comfy. My only regret is that you don't make the same great colors for those of us who need a wide width in your products as you do for the medium width. Not fair at all! Would love to get the lichen with the raspberry in wide! How about considering those of us who have wider feet but still love great colors :)

Comfiest shoes Ive ever had. These shoes were part of my uniform when I worked as a zipline guide. Id be on uneven terrain all day and my feet would still feel great after wearing these shoes. I have high arches and the insoles in these shoes are support them while still being soft. I wish every shoe had these insoles.

Just got my Moab 3s for Christmas and I absolutely love them! Ive never owned Merrills before, but I am so glad I chose them. Went to Gatlinburg, TN the week after Christmas (little did I know it was their busiest week of the year) and walked around in my brand new Merells all day at the aquarium and then all day at Dollywood and my feet never hurt me once. Great outdoor shoe but great for every day walking also. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good hiking/walking shoe. (Great instep support too!)

I was looking for great support for walking every morning. These have met that goal. I look for chances to wear them everywhere now. for Errands, to the grocery store

I love the fit of this boot. I was disappointed with the color though. Much darker green that the picture. More of a dark fir tree green. Look on Zappos. The color there is more true.

Bought Women's Moab 3 Mid Wide width Waterproof. They're mostly really great but are definitely 100% NOT WATERPROOF and should not be advertised as such. It's an important feature to me and when looking at their construction I wondered how they could be but took the company at their word. On the positive side the boots are a great fit overall

I have been a MOAB fan for a very long time, owning at least eight pair over the years both Ventilator and Waterproof. I use them for walking and hiking primarily and love the stability they offer. However the insoles offer very little cushioning. Having chronic foot and lower back issues this is a problem for me. So I was excited to see the latest version and description of the new MOAB 3! This new "3" has a little more arch support along with more roll in the toe and heal all good improvements. I gave this shoe 4 stars because I'm disappointed in the insole. I was expecting more cushioning and support in the heal and toe box which remain uncomfortably hard. There is a little pad built into the heal but not effective. So I'll need to purchase expensive insoles. I guess I misunderstood the description??

Very comfortable and great support. I would have given it a 5 but I find the toe box is really, really wide. We joke that it is comparable to what a clown shoe would be like. It actually feels like I want to trip sometimes because it feels so bulky around the toes.

Love love love! These are my second pair! First ones were the boot version! Just got the shoe for the summer! Thanks for making such a comfortable shoe!!

These shoes are great right out of the box. I was a little worried that the arches would be too high for me, as i had a little numbness when i wore them for initial hike but they worked just fine. I took them to Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio and they worked great on the rocks and uneven surfaces. Thanks Merrell! I loves my new hiking shoes!

The shoes are very comfortable and have great support. It makes me realize that my older shoes were pretty worn out!
