Great supportive fit yet light . From box to urban walking . Very comfortable & sturdy. Wanted a shoe that worked well on wilderness hikes or urban walks and this fits the bill !

Fits and looks great! Love the burlwood mahogany color! These are going to be favorites. Highly recommend the Moab style, they are so comfy!

I recently bought these for my trip to Iceland in Sept. I have only worn around town so far but I love them. I have the boots too and love them.

It really improved my hiking experience, has a great grip on the rocky terrain of my trails. They are also very comfortable!

This is my 3rd pair of Moabs, each better than the last. In between these 3, I tried a lighter, slimmed down Merrell hiker that was a high quality shoe, but after a year I decided I wanted to go back. There's nothing like the Moab support under your feet, the wide toe boot, and the superior padding all around, including a thick tongue. Good arch support as well. I started with my first pair as a hiker in NC but with my move to FL I had little need for a hiker; however, I quickly found I still wanted all that support under my feet when walking on concrete. They're just great!

My Merrell's are housed in Running Springs, California- our local Southern California mountains. I love them!
They take me everywhere! :)

I am very happy with my Moab 3 hiking shoes. I bought them before traveling to Croatia where I was hiking in national parks and doing a lot of walking on rock stairs and walls. The Moab 3s fit perfectly, were comfortable, and the hearty, non-slip soles were invaluable, especially on the slippery rocks! They were a great purchase!

These shoes are very comfortable. I hiked in the Grand Canyon, Red Rock Canyon, Sequoia National Park, and Yosemite, so far. I didn't have to break them in at all. They're sturdy enough for rocky terrain. I live them!

I hike trails with my dog everyday and needed stable, protective footwear for the rough terrain but didn't want to wear boots in the summer heat. These are perfect.

I'm new to Merrell and researched this as an option long before buying, I was not disappointed. Compared to the other option I purchased at the same time (the antora 3) these had better arch support and despite the loud squeaking indoors, it was not noticeable on the trail. The first outing I took these on was over wet terrain and loose rocks up steep hills. They provided sturdy grip and traction, I felt confident weaving up and down the switch backs. I have had two knee surgeries and was happy at the amount of cushion. After a three hour hike the only thing sore were my shoulders! I would highly recommend these.

I had to get 1/2 size larger than I normally wear but these wide width hiking shoes were very comfortable.

I bought these for our trip to Costa Rica. I chose to not go with the waterproof Moabs and that was a good choice. These fit great and are lightweight. Perfect for hiking around the rainforest in July. I ordered a full size up. Order what you wear in running shoes.

I love Merrells. I've worn the brand for many years. These are the best for feeling like my feet are being properly supported while walking and hiking. I've tried many other brands and none of them feel like they're as supportive as these do.

These were great for a hike through sand, gravel, slick rock surfaces, and moderate climbing. I feel confident they will be up for more difficult climbs ahead, too. Great product.

Love these. Have had a pair for 3 years and bought a new one for a trip to Alaska. Minimal break in required. Love, love, love. And the trip was super too.

The Moab 3 is a great shoe that doesn't require any break-in period. I love the comfort, support and stability it provides when I walk either on uneven trails or around town. I am heading out to Alaska next week and intend to hit several trails with my new Moab 3 shoes.

Was happy to see a new edition of Moab 3. I have a Moab 2 Gore-Tex that I really like and wanted a cooler shoe for summer. Ordered these in brindle/tea and am pleased to say that the color is a bit darker than what it seems on the website. The mesh is a sort of greenish and the leather is smooth and taupe. The midsole is not quite as soft and responsive as I thought it might be, but is still really comfortable. Put them on and went on a 3 mile walk with zero discomfort. I have a rather narrow foot and the Moab does a really nice job of securing one's heel while providing a sufficiently wide toe box. I tried another brand recently that just found offered women's size 12 about which reviews raved. Must say that I was disappointed. Putting on my Merrell's was like putting on a pair of slippers by comparison.
