I wear a womens 9 wide. I ordered this. Fit is good. Might go to a 9.5 wide next but it does fit good. I wear these to work. Factory 12 hr ahift and they are great for my feet right out of box.

Merrell does not disappoint in quality. Unfortunately, my foot is too wide for even Merrell's widest width, and they don't make an extra wide (EE) in this boot.

Yeah, these were a good buy. Took them on my first backcountry camping trip in Waterton. Really comfortable right out the box, I felt confident climbing up some rocky areas. And I loved the colour. It didn't rain so I don't know how waterproof they are.. the only thing, I wish Merrell made their shoes with a larger tow bed like Keen. On the descend my toes felt a little cramped. However I don't really want to fault them for it because I knew that before I bought them.

Very comfortable shoe, especially on rocky, uneven trails. This is the second pair I have owned, the first pair lasted 5 years of day hikes.

I tried out these new hiking boots last week on my ranch. They were supportive, comfortable and perfect. I didn't even have to break them in. I have been using Merrill hiking boots since 2014 and am confident in their quality and support.

I recently suffered a foot injury while gardening -- yes, gardening -- and really had a hard time walking without a cane and pain. Donned my old Merrell hiking boots (brown leather with red laces) that I used while recovering from a previous knee injury so that my foot and ankle were supported. They helped tremendously but I knew that newer technology would likely provide even better support so once again Merrell came to the rescue. These Moab 3 Mid Waterproof are wonderful! I put them on this morning for the first time and had no pain - I could walk without a cane! The foot and ankle are firmly supported and by adjusting the lacing I can tailor the fit. I hope to avoid a visit to the foot doctor by letting these Merrells hold my foot in place to promote healing and strength. I LOVE THESE SHOES!!!!!

I was looking for a midweight hiking boot to provide ankle support on day hikes. These were perfect, right out of the box. They don't weigh my feet down, provide the support I was looking for, and have climbed many kilometres in the mountains.

The Moab 3 Mid is incredibly comfortable. I wore my new pair almost continuously over a weekend while out on photo shoots, and my feet were happy the entire time. I wear a wide width, and the Moab (this is my third pair) always fits perfectly.
I'd also recommend:

After having 2 surgeries on my foot in the past 5 months.. I have finally found the footwear I can wear without it hurting my ankles/toes. These shoes feel true to size and feel comfortable so far. I used to wear 9.5 medium, but since I had my accident… right now for me 9.5 wide works great. I also am happy with the style & tread . I feel more confident walking & not worried about slipping & falling.

I had the original Moab for over 8 years and only reason decided to switch is my feet grew a lot since pregnancy.

Super comfortable boot with zero breakin time and decent amount of support. I dont usually wear a wide size but this was needed with the heavy hiking socks to give me room. Took them to Portugal for a hiking trip.

I wanted the best boots to hike Mount Doom in New Zealand. I have always been a fan of Merrell's as my everyday shoe. Now they are part of bucket lists trips. Comfort and stability. I went wide for the 20 km hike for foot expansion and these were perfect!

Lightweight but, solid hiking shoe. Grippy soles for wet, rocky areas. Super comfortable. I chose a wide as the reg (which is my normal width) was too snug with the stitched straps along the sides which don't give at all. I've never bought a wide but, this wide shoe fits like a regular width for me. Very comfortable and supportive. Love the 'altitude' color as well.

Amazing all around shoe and such good value! This is my first pair of hiking shoes that I bought for a 3 day trek through Banff, Alberta. They were so comfortable, and I didn't get any blisters. Even after stepping through mud and puddles, my feet stayed dry. Highly recommend!

I wore these everyday on my two week trip to Scotland. Through rain and drizzle these boots kept my feet dry and comfortable. I purchased a half size up ( 6 regular) to allow for thicker socks. I highly recommend them. These are my second pair of Merrels. I bought this pair as I needed a bit of ankle support.

I purchased these boots for a trip to Iceland. I was recovering from broken foot and i needed a light weight, stable waterproof boot for my hiking excursions. These boots rocked. My feet stayed dry crossing small streams, stable for uphill climbing and light weight so I wasn't exhausted.

I took these boot on a hike for the first time in Norway and they worked great! It was raining most of the time and tough terrain, but they kept me warm. I would definitely recommend them.
