They have an Elastic Top so they are hard to get on

I have a narrow fit. I like sole portion fits fine. However, when tightening the laces to the to fit for running, the fabric over the top of the foot folds on itself causing a pressure spot that is uncomfortable with exercise

Was excited for the Embark because I really liked Merrell's lightweight line. I tried these on and immediately felt my feet pronate when standing and walking. Likely an okay shoe if you put a hard insole. Sad face.

They're really nice looking shoes. I've always worn a size 10 Merrell shoe, and they always fit my foot perfectly. These shoes fit wide and loose and don't offer the support you normally get from their shoes. Just wish they were narrower and they'd be perfect.

Very nice look. The lack of a tongue makes shoes very difficult to put on. Hoping this loosens as shoes "relax" a bit.

Different in terms of how to put on the sneaker which I had great difficulty doing. Not your usual style. The sock like neoprene construction made them difficult for me to put them on. I also felt they ran too narrow for my feet and were uncomfortable.

Extremely Wide! Once I tightened the laces, the extra material bunched up underneath them. Looked horrible!

Just got the shoes, liked the color, but fit is weird. The toe box is too big and made shoes feel like it doesn't fit right. Also, because it's a" boot fit", boot in place of tongue didn't feel right.

This shoe is a sock shoe almost and has no support upper is like a sock slip on with laces to adjust. Not clear from description. I wish I could wear it as I ike the look. Had to return as no support

The shoes look nice but tightening the laces makes the shoe fabric bunch up on the top of my foot and subsequently dig into my foot. Makes for an uncomfortable walk when you have something digging into the top of your foot. I had not even tightened the laces that much - no more than you would on a normal shoe.

Very uncomfortable shoes and they make returns difficult.

"Integrated" insole is literally non existent. Feel all stitching. Wide is not wide enough at all. Not like 'most' other Merrells. Shoe material is way too thin. Didn't take me more than a quick try on to rebox and return.

Bought the moon/clay online and was very disappointed when they arrived. The color is actually grey and black which last I checked isn't moon/clay. Doesn't look anything like photos, just returning them and finding something else. Not surprising they were discounted so much.

Terrible arch support, even with a wide my arch was hanging over the side of the shoe.
