These run about a 1/2 size too small. I ordered a 10.5 for my husband (he wears 10.5 in every shoe & boot he owns) and when he put them on, his toe was all the way at the end. I returned to exchange for an 11. Thanks Zappos for such fast shipping, received the exchanged size next day. The 11 fits him perfect. He says they feel comfortable, the real test will be our upcoming trip.

I was looking for a light hiking boot for everyday use fall/winter/spring. I have the low version of these, which I use mainly for mountain biking and warm weather hiking. These are just as comfortable and then some. The additional ankle support is welcome in slightly more technical terrain. Perfect fit, and comfortable right out of the box.

I've had this second pair as daily use footwear for over four years. (Hiking, camping, shopping, work and walking the dogs) They are nearly indestructible. Originally purchased a pair of low cut Moab hikers and man I can honestly say they where the most comfortable shoes I'd ever worn . Hence when I needed a new pair naturally chose Merrells again but in a mid cut. And this is what has brought me here again as it's getting near time to replace the old ones as would like to break them in before adventuring out on longer treks. But being frugal thinking I most likely can squeeze year five out of the current pair. Best shoes these fat feet have ever met

Super comfortable and great grip/traction too with the soles. This was my first time trying a wide shoe. I like my boots snug, but eventually I would blow out the pinky toe sides of the boots. Wish I changed to wide sooner.

Good old standby. Rugged and solid just like the other pairs of Merrell's I've owned.

Love my new boots. I bought the last pair almost 10 years ago and only mostly bought new because I wanted another color. I've had recurring knee trouble for 2 years and much of the time my Merrels were my only truly comfortable shoe to wear.

Super Comfy. I opted for the wide foot and after a short trial hike, needed to switch out the insole for a gel version. Aside from my own personal adjustmenta, these boots were ready to go out of the box. Super grippy, non slip sole. We've got some km's to do together.

Recently broke my foot and was looking for a good set of hiking boots with good arch support. The comfort and support on these out of the box is unreal. Very Happy so far!

I spend 36 years in the U.S. army where good foot gear was a "must have", built for tough terrain and various weather conditions. However, comfort was not a heavily weighted criteria. Civilian foot gear was just to opposite and wore out quickly, or worse, fell apart in use. I bought my first Merrell MOAB approximately 2014 and wore them for rugged Northwest outdoors excursions. The boots preformed amazingly well in all terrain and cold weather, minus deep snow. Hot weather, above 80F-90F I needed to change six and air cool my feet. As a moderate insulated boot, I wouldn't wear them above 90F unless transitioning to higher altitudes where weather was cooler. My feet were always dry in wet weather and my inserts were upgraded once in 8 years. I can't believe the comfort. My old boot tread wore so I bought a new pair of Wolverines. They have modernized tread, otherwise, the same boots. I love them. I immediately went to my upgraded inserts and feel like I am walking on air. These are surprisingly light weight for rugged foot gear. Highly recommend for ankle high foot protection among outdoorsmen.

Bought these on a whim for moderate snow situations. I don't do much hiking but I have a dog and need to take her out 3x daily regardless of weather. I have boots but they are difficult to put on. These Merrels slip on easily, lace up easily and are comfortable and supportive. They are absolutely waterproof and have deep tread and good traction. They wound up being my go to shoe this winter and I highly recommend them.

I got them just in time for a nice 8.3 mile hike in the Western Sierras. Put them on straight out of the box to head out for the hike and they fit much better than expected. Very comfortable shoe, great traction on rocky areas and they don't feel heavy like traditional leather boots do. Comfortable all day without the need for a break in period.

I can't find this size or width in local stores. Moab 3 waterproof are the only shoes my partner wants, he usually gets the lower ones. They wear very well and are reasonable and very supportive and comfortable. Size 14 wide are not in stores.

Excellent lightweight boots that hug my ankle just right. Excellent traction and plush inner. Only downside for me is they make my feet stink after an all day wear.
