Merrell Hiking Boots are always my go-to purchase when I need to replace my well-worn and well-loved boots. I am on the trails early every morning and even with my arthritic feet, I find comfort and ease of movement over varied terrain. The only thing I have a hard time with is the laces ... I am re-tying them often unless I get a good grip with a double knot.

Extremely comfortable at the very first - but just slightly wide. Stability seems solid but I used my own preferred insoles with pronation control. My only concern is if the shoes become a little looser with wear. Still, outstanding shoes. Fine for casual wear without the treads causing discomfort.

Recommended a 1/2 size bigger than I would have picked, it felt that half size big but I appreciated the width, kept the shoe. Walked a lot in it, very comfortable. Laced up fine to prevent any chafing I was unnecessarily concerned about due to the slight oversize. Very happy with the shoe overall but would go a 1/2 size smaller next time.

This is my first pair of merrells. But so far I'm loving em.. No regrets about this purchase what so ever. Comfy, my size fit as my size, love the look.. I originally wanted a pair of adidas that I fell in love with but they didn't have my size. I'm not at all upset that I couldn't get em

I love hiking, but very often will just wear regular sneakers instead of specific hiking shoes. I have had poor experiences with past hiking shoes that have caused me to write them off. Enter, Merrell. I was skeptical to try another hiking shoe, but the situation insisted that I give these MOAB 3s a try. My mind has been changed! Gone are the days that I wear sneakers on the hiking trail, Merrell has changed my mind forever and I will continue to love my MOABs. The only thing I would change would be to offer some fun, bright colors!

Merrell Moab won't last 100 miles and aren't waterproof. The wides are too big for my wide foot

I ordered these because the previous Merrell Moabs in Wide width were perfect and lasted a long time! Looking forward to wearing these out, too!

Great shoes. Comfortable for hiking the minute I put them on. Lightweight and perfect for trail walking. Not waterproof, though! (A good thing for keeping feet cooler, not so good for hiking in a rainstorm.)

I ordered 1/2 size larger for more toe room; the Wide option was too large - returned for the regular width which was perfect; the insole actually cups the heel and has good arch support - no need to buy my own inserts; I love them!

Fit and size were perfect. I've purchased several of these over the years. I do always put inserts in but I suspect that's my feet not the shoes!

I keep coming back to these shoes. I've lost track but this must be my third or fourth pair of Moab's. I like the style and the fit is always good. I prefer more arch support so I put in my own orthotic insoles. No big deal, that's just my preference. I highly recommended them to my wife who wants a good gardening shoe.

Arguably the best hiking/walking shoes I have ever purchased. Perfect fit and extremely comfortable right out of the box. I was looking a wide shoe with a soft upper to avoid the shoe squashing my toes as I walk. These shoes ticked all the boxes. Well worth the price.

Ordered men's 10D. They were too small. Returned them for a 10.5D which fit perfectly. Comfortable right out of the box.

These are some of the longest lasting shoes I have owned. The soles just keep going. I do have to replace the insoles every 3 to 6 months, but a pair of Dr. Scholl's® works fine. I wore out a pair of Hoka's in less than 6 months. I once got two years out of a pair of these Merell's. Although, one year is closer to the mean. That is doing about 1,000 miles per year of hiking on mixed terrain.

Replaced my 5++ year old Merrell Moab GoreTex with these Moab 3 without GoreTex since we don’t get a lot of inclement weather. Shoes were great out of the box. No break-in required. I need a shoe with a generous toe box and these suit me well. Guess this will be my shoe for another 5++ years. Not a bad investment.

Fit and size were perfect. I normally wear a 12.5 but the 12 fit very comfortably.
