Good fit. Comfortable. Lightweight. Breathes well. Plenty of toe room.

I've bought about 10 pairs of the Moab 3 in the last 10 years (both waterproof and non-waterproof), and this is the best hiking shoe / boot I have ever owned. I've tried various brands over the years prior, and each had their shortcomings... not so with the Merrell. Nothing negative about the boot - even the factory insole is very good (at one point, I replaced with a Good Feet insole, which made the feel worse, so I switched back). Stop shopping for boots, this is the one...

Needed a new pair of hikers, gave these a shot. Glad I did!! I definitely will purchase more merril products

BEAUTIFUL FIT, FINISH for this pair of Merrells. Which must be my two dozenth pair. I love them so. Had to buy the mid-height, as my feet have become sensitive around the ankle. And these fit, feel, and look just beautiful. Might be the best pair yet. In fact, I liked them so much, I immediately ordered TWO more pair to sock away for years later, when this pair wears out.

I'm using for my work and I very happy, is very comfortable.

I bought these before a hiking trip out to Arizona. Wow was I impressed. Much better traction then typical outdoor chain store brand. They are almost too grippy on rock faces. If you need to pivot your foot. You will have to relieve a little pressure first. In dirt covered rock face these boots bite into the surface with authority and give the traction you need. They are all day comfortable, and have never let me down. The cost is way cheaper than a broken ankle and a ruined vacation!

I just bought these to replace my old pair. They look great and feel very similar (which I like). I do notice a tiny difference in the weight but it could be because my old pair are used and abused. I'll update this review once I put some miles on them.

I am 14 wide and these shoes are perfect. I had them out in the corn fields of Kansas on long hikes and they stood up and served me so well.

Lightweight, comfortable, fit perfectly, I wear these almost daily. They are an excellent hiking boot as well as an everyday boot to wear in all settings. They keep my feet dry and warm.

Once upon a time I only wore Merrell shoes and boots. I went away because I couldn't find my size in any stores and I was leary of ordering online and them not fitting. I wanted the Jeep branded Moabs but didn't order in time. But, I took a chance and I'm so glad I did. They fit so well and I love the look. The souls grip and support so well. The Moab 3 is still the best mid height boot available. I love them.

I've worn these shoes almost everyday for over a year. I've wore them to social gatherings as a casual dress and on mountain hiking trails. They are still going! I consider myself overweight yet these shoes are still performing as good as the day I started wearing them. I have another pair waiting on me! I purchased a second pair for standby because I was afraid Merrell would discontinue this model! I'm so glad they haven't . Best all around shoe. I did not get the waterproof as they run hotter. I wear these in summer to go right through streams. Non waterproof aids in drying time when on the trail. Thanks Merrell for a great shoe!! You've got me!!

My 12yo hiked Hocking Hills in them. He thanked me for them. Its his favorite pair.

This is my third pair and am just as happy with these as the first pair.. comfort, size all good... I'll be getting a 4th when needed.

I always get a half size larger as my feet tend to swell a little while hiking. Merrills fit my feet better than any other shoe I've worn. They're high quality and well worth the price. They are consistent in their sizing, no matter the style. This saves time as you know after buying just one pair of Merrills, you don't have to return them because they don't fit you right.

Supportive, comfortable & keeps your feet warm in cold weather. Great for walking as well as hiking. Love this boot, this is my 3rd pair & they last for years!

Comfortable right out of the box. My fourth pair is on the way, but I still use my 6yr old pair of Vertex. Longest lasting shoes ever.

Right fit for a great price on a budget. Was looking comfortable fit shoes a family member. They loved the shoes.

These shoes have fantastic grip! I was out exploring in the Del Norte mountains and Big Bend in Texas and these shoes' grip works well on the smooth limestone and shale that can be found in the area. It also passes the "accidentally stepping on a cactus" test lol. The shoe size was just slightly larger than expected but that didn't stop me from hiking, slipping, or rolling an ankle!

The most comfortable boot I have ever owned! Zero break-in needed. The boot also feels to be incredibly well-made, and I expect it to be very durable.
