Purchased Wide but it's still too narrow. I can't imagine how narrow the regular size is, but the wide isn't wide in the toebox and my toes are burning and numb before I've hiked 3 miles. The balls of my feet were burning because this shoe is too tight. It is waterproof and the sole is comfortable right out of the box. The shoe is great quality and waterproof too.

Had to return these, the side of the shoe hit my ankle bone. Need a deeper ankle opening.

Is larger than other Columbia shoes in same size.
Very wide.

The shoe was not as wide as I hoped though the size was correct as ordered. The sole looked rugged but not the type that would track mud or be difficult to clean. I have ‘ski boot’ feet so need room for the lumps and bumps that have come with the on the snow. The shoe would be a good all-‘round fall into winter weather light hiker.
I'd also recommend:
Merrell, Keen, Sorel, Baffin

These were comfortable shoes, but the toe box felt a little tight. I wasn't sure they would be comfortable if I had to wear them all day.

This item was 2 or 3 sizes larger than normal. Maybe a men’s size was sent in error. I’m a bit baffled. I ordered a ladies 5.5M.

The description and questions answered section are complete LIES!!! I waited 4 days for these to be delivered only to find out within seconds of opening, THEY ARE NOT COMPOSITE TOE SHOES!!!! What a dang waste, RETURN!!!

I normally wear a size 7, these in a size 7 made my feet numb. I tried asking Columbia to replace them with a size 8 and got nowhere
