I love those shoes. The tie box is wide enough for my arthritic toes, and easily adjusted by modifying the shoe laces. The heel tightening system means I can get a snug fit in the heels if needed by tightening the shoe laces at the top of the show. Nice footbed with excellent support. Very stable side to side, it would take some hard work to roll and ankle in these shoes. Excellent traction as well.

While these feel like quality shoes, the sizing is very odd. I own a pair of Salewa Alp Trainer Mids in US size 8. I would say the mids ran somewhat on the narrow side. Salewa's site even says that the Alp Trainers are their more narrow shoe. I ordered these shoes on Amazon in size 8 first and they were ridiculously wide, to the point that I could slide my foot from side to side in them. I ordered a half size down and they were still too big in both width and length. I went all the way down to size 7, which is a full size smaller than my normal shoe size, and the fit was near perfect in width and length but I couldn't get the lacing at the top of the shoe tight enough to prevent heel slippage. Overall these don't seem to be for me.

True to size. Comfortable right out of the box. Well made and waterproof. Highly recommend.

I loved these hiking shoes. Supportive, adjustable and cute. I sadly returned them because I need a wide shoe and I was concerned they would not stretch enough for pain free hiking. If you have an average width, I highly recommend.

Very easy wearing out of the box. Good support for a narrow-ish foot. Note that I replaced the insole with my own Super Feet insole. Well made. I like the look of them.

Awesome! I want to buy another pair

Unfortunately, these shoes fit very strangely. First, I had to order a full size smaller than my usual size, but even the smaller size feels extremely loose around my toes. Also, the shoe wasn't snug enough around the heel. I'm sad because, visually, these shoes look really cool. I am returning these.
