The product description says 100% cotton. I have too much of synthetic lint after the first wash and other laundry items covered in fine fibers to tell that it is clearly a blend. I am returning it and hope to get full refund including shipping. Otherwise it is well made pajamas if you do not care about fabric quality.

Plugged my dryer filter with black lint and left black particles on my other clothing. Also, legs were four inches too long. I would not buy again.

certainly not for short and stubby, will have to have legs and arms tailored. Belly band seems excessive. For some reason I'm having a problem with itchy legs. Third washing may be the charm.

I have to echo other reviewers' issues with lint. I must also state that I generally love LLBean products and have numerous Bean pjs, which have been excellent. Not these. I just washed the Macbeth tartan on delicate cycle by themselves. The washer was full of soggy lint. I put them into the drier, on low heat, also delicate cycle. I could not believe the amount of dark blue lint trapped by the screen. I have never seen that much lint at one time, ever. At this rate, there won't be any fabric left after two more washings. I had hoped to add the Kilgour pattern to my collection, but not after this experience.

Ordered medium size as most of my clothes. Way too big. Returned for small size. Top fine, comfy. Nice fabric. Bottom: Legs much too long; must be folded up into big cuffs which are gone after 1 night's sleep; waist much too small -- almost impossible to put on, especially to tuck in the top.

The pattern is the great one I've loved for years but the fabric quality is sad, heart-breaking; so thin; neither quality nor warmth that I had expected. Won't order them again.

The pajamas looked OK but were more of am XL than L. It cost me $6.50 to send them back. Never going to buy LL Bean again.

The good news, soft fabric as expected; the bad news, construction with irritable scratchy tag and spare button located inexplicably just below the waist in the rear.

Elastic very tight, completely disproportionate from the pants. pants fit fine except for the ridiculous elastic. I can't return them because i made an attempt at altering them which failed. I am very thin. the redesign of the pants is terrible. must be a cost cutting effort. I will have to look to a traditional men's clothier for another pair.. Pajama top is fine

L.L. Bean flannel pajamas have really changed. I have long bought regular medium flannel pajamas, but these didn't fit at all. The color was great, but the arms and legs on this pair were much too long--and this was in a regular medium. Additionally, the pajamas are much thinner than L.L. Bean flannel pajamas from previous years. Unfortunately, I had to send them back.

Had them maybe a month and the seam in the crotch are failing. Otherwise comfortable. Can probably get them sewn back together.

Overall fit as expected EXCEPT the elastic waist is too tight and not adjustable despite having tied laces. I have a 34 waist, no gut or paunch, but the waist is still too tight for comfort. PJs should be relaxed fit I believe.

Looked great at first. After 1 month lots of pilling and coming apart at a seam.

Pajamas with 36 inseams for someone who is a 29? Am I really supposed to roll up the cuffs to wear them. What a silly design.

While these look okay, especially freshly laundered, I question how long the flannel will hold up. After only a handful of washes and wears, I've already torn two seams in the bottoms, for instance -- an issue I've never had with any other pajamas or sweatpants. I can mend a torn seam or two, but I think there are either some serious quality control issues at the factory and/or L. L. Bean is compromising on its fabrics and fabrication.

Years ago I purchased this item, in which it had a drawstring, not elastic on the pants. The PJ's lasted YEARS!!!! great quality, thick, durable and very comfortable. I just purchased the same design, same size: Men's Large and the elastic was so tight on my stomach it left marks. It is extremely uncomfortable. Note, I am a woman who wears a women's M, so the fit on these is extremely large on purpose. That was my intent and desire. But after my first wearing on xmas day, I am ready to cut the elastic to breathe. This is extremely tight and i can't imagine a male Large being comfortable at all. I am disappointed. I realize most all pj's have elastic, but this feels heavy duty. Cutting into my stomach.

Bought this as a second pair of PJ's after owning a red set for years. This pair, the pants ripped in the crotch area simply putting them on.

Quality is not what you would expect from LL Bean. Previously purchased pajamas at least had piping around collar, and cuffs

I was looking forward to getting my husband a pair of nice, warm flannel pajamas for Christmas. I even splurged on a monogram. When they arrived, however, the monogram had a weird mark in the middle that's quite noticeableit's almost as if the flannel has been worn out there. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new pair, which I thought would resolve the issue. Nope. The second pair has the same weird wear mark in the middle of the monogram. I don't want to ask them to send me a THIRD pair of pajamas, so I guess I'm giving him this with the disappointment that the quality did not meet expectations. I won't likely buy another pair of monogrammed pajamas from here.

Soft. cozy, and warm, BUT on first wearing the fabric started to pill badly. These pj's should be washed alone , separately, prior to wearing.

The flannel material felt thin and cheap. I have purchased in the past and this is not as good.
