These are sleep pants not pajama bottoms, they are not supposed to have a fly and I would not buy them if they had one. I am disappointed that the flannel used in the shirts and sleepwear is not what it once was 20 years ago when most Bean clothing was still made in USA. I think the foreign mills can make the higher quality flannel if Bean would specify heavier denser fabric from their current vendors.

Two deficiencies -- no string tie and two warm for an item ordered in and to be used in summer

The pajama pants I bought from you have no fly. I can't believe that LL Bean would have missed that. To relieve my self I had to drop my PJ pants. Good grief! I asked my wife to install a fly which she did.
C'mon!

For a medium, these are HUGE. Have washed and dried several times in Hot water/dryer. Will have to take in a tuck to keep them from falling off. Fabric is just OK. Like the last 3 out of 4 Bean products I've ordered, the fabrics are just not up to the Bean quality that I've been used to.

This item is good quality as is usual for LL bean products. However I was disappointed there was no fly opening. I was thinking maybe it was a women's product. But it is sold as men's. For this reason I rated it as I did and would not recommend it.

Way to long. Not like the last several pair I bought from you.

Unfortunately, the pants only come in one length size (31in) so the legs cuffs drag and need to be folded.

The overall quality was good. I was disappointed in the product because, 1. it did not have a front fly and 2. the elastic was too loose rendering it useless. They only way to keep the bottoms up is using the ties.

My fianc loved them at first as they were super soft, but after washing once, they were no longer as soft. He still wears them, but wishes they felt like the first time he tried them on.

Mens pajamas without a fly? They were returned quickly. If this was a cost saving design, then it was a poor decision. Can't understand this design. Rethink it for next Christmas. Material was good. Fit was good.

The legs were way too long and would have needed hemming for sure. The waist was somewhat too large. So I returned them for a small. Will wait to see how that fits.
Also disappointed that there was no fly accommodation.

First off let me say I think this is the first less than stellar review I've ever given of an LLBean purchase. I've always felt your products were worth the price tag because quality is important to me, and stuff wears well and lasts!
I bought the Blackwatch plaid for my husband as a gift, in T XL. They looked perfect, and he loved them.
Since then they've been washed on 'cool' and dried on low. They've lost their oomph, and dried a bit rumpled. They still fit well, and the color is still there, but they just feel way different than the LLBean flannel fabrics I'd come to expect.
I wonder if the darker coloring process has anything to do with it?

I ordered these for my husband, nice material but the sizing was way off. The regular large (the size of his old pair of Bean pj pants) left inches of material dragging on the floor and he's 6 feet tall. He often wears a tall in LL Bean, we were disappointed and returned them.

The item does not have fly, to go to the bathroom you have to pull the waist to your thighs to be able to urinate. Other brands have the fly, which if I had known this flaw I would not have purchased the item.

Purchased two sleep pants. Would not have purchased if I realized "men's" pants didn't have a fly. Come on LL Bean you can do better!

Great, warm flannel fabric. I thought that this was a men's product, but there was no fly. Legs were quite baggy and long; I had to have them shortened by about 4-5 inches so that I wouldn't trip on them.

Wife had to cut off 5 inches, then fold, and hem. Otherwise I would be tripping and falling all over the place. Why not offer these in lengths???

Well made. Very comfortable. Warm. Great for the chilly evenings in Maine.
However, there is no opening in the front. Kind of inconvenient if you're a guy. I guess these could be unisex.

Sleep pants are good in every way but price. Nearly $50 for a product that is indiscernible from sleep pants at one-fourth the price.
Bean stuff is usually slightly more expensive and well worth it, but 4x the price for no difference in quality for a sleep pant doesn't work for me.

I liked the PJ bottoms, except there was no fly. That diminished my enthusiasm for the product.
