My husband absolutely loves these pajama bottoms. The flannel is substantial warm and soft! First time he wore them he could not believe there was no fly sewn into them. We were both quite surprised LLBean would make men's pj's without it! Would have given 5 stars if it had. Hopefully they will correct this important item!!!

After one wash, one of my pairs of pajama pants has a long thread coming out of the seam.

My husband liked everything about this pair of flannel sleep pants in the washed Buchanan plaid fabric. In fact, any time Bean offers any item in the Buchanan plaid line we purchase it given that it is our family name. The problem presented with these pants, however, is that while they are comfortable and fit well, they do not have a fly and that is a deal breaker. Not sure how to rate the pants since they are of excellent quality, but missing something essential.

I got these flannel pj bottoms for my husband for Christmas. After washing first he noticed during the night that he had NO fly. What gives! We're both very disappointed, I went out of my way to use LLBean. Will think more than twice before I buy again from you

I bought my husband a medium based on his size in JCrew - these were huge so the fact they were too long was a side issue. He liked them so I returned them and ordered a small 30"- they are backed ordered until March/April . Point being if you wear a medium in brand x you might want to size down

Great product! Well made and comfortable sleep or lounge pants. Christmas gifts for my two sons. They were a hit!

These are warm and comfortable but shrunk in length when washed and put in the dryer on low heat.

Pros: Well made in El Salvador. Good tie strings. Nice fabric.
Cons: Baggy and seem too long for size ordered.

The material is soft and a good weight for winter. Unfortunately I only gave 3 stars because there is no fly front.

Cons: The flannel is light weight. I thought it would be thicker. Pros: The flannel is nicely brushed both inside and out which makes the flannel feel very soft. Good fit and drape.

Nice color, nice fabric, washed well but my husband won't wear them because they don't have a fly! That was a surprise to both of us! (I bought them for him, obviously) That should be prominently listed on the description. A disappointment.

The fit, finish and fabric deserve five stars, however the lack of a fly front is a problem. For an agile young person who gets up once per night, no problem. For a near 90-year-old who is up more often, it reminds one why the fly is a desirable convenience.

I bought two pairs of these sleep pants for my husband. The Black Watch pants were properly sized, but the Vintage Tartan pants were a full 2 inches longer even though they were labeled the same. My husband knew they were long but didn't realize the huge discrepancy until after wearing so I can't return them. Even after washing they will still need to be hemmed to be functional. Also, the Vintage Tartan is larger in the waist. Is it poor quality control or incorrect labeling?

I have a pair of these pants that have been great for me, so got a pair for my son recently. He appreciated the great comfort and was very impressed with how soft they are. However recently after wearing them for less than a month they have ripped between the legs. He had gotten another style of Bean sleep pants last fall and he noticed a rip 8 months later, but I thought with the higher quality of this pair they would last longer rather than making it less than a month.

No fly? For $50, there should be a fly. 50 characters minimum? I said all that needed to be said in 39 characters.

My husband says the no openiing in the front is annoying but can live with it. However the pockets are not good. Things fall out. I'd return them but just last night he had me cut the tags out, and today I will alter the pockets and make an opening in the front. We love LL Bean. Price requires better quality on the little things.

There is no fly in this product which makes a visit to the bathroom inconvenient. Previously purchased L.L. Bean pajamas were made with a fly. Otherwise, my preferred sleepwear is the L.L. Bean flannel pajamas.

The size was wayyy too large. They were a gift for my boyfriend and he likes the material, but unfortunately I need to exchange them which is inconvenient
