This is a really nice sweater! It is a heavy rag wool, I've not owned a sweater like this in a number of years.

I think this is a really nice sweater. I wanted something with a vintage look to it for a 1920s era living history impression, and this has a classic profile that fit that bill. The wool is a nice weight, substantial but not too heavy, is surprisingly soft for ragg wool and is very warm. I have several LL Bean wool sweaters and a couple of cotton ones, and like them all. I also would like to note that the 3XL-Tall is actually very long. I am 6'6", and the length came down past my jean pockets. LL Bean, with their typically great customer service, made the exchange very easy ( and I actually switched both size (to regular 3XL and color from Navy to the color I had originally really wanted (Forest Shade) that had not been available when I ordered in the tall version). Once I switched the size to 3XL, it fit perfect! So, with getting the color I wanted and a great fit, I call that win as well. Kind of still want the Navy one too though....

I bought one of these for myself and I absolutely love it! I wear it everyday! It's so soft and warm my daughter wanted one for her birthday.

My wife would not let me buy a sweater of this style because I would look like "an old man." I bought it anyway. Huge number of compliments on it. She even had to admit it looked good.

A really great and very warm sweater. Pretty much same in every way as my 23 yrs old LLB wool sweater that has finally worn out and had to be discarded. Dark Green is a perfect color.

It's a pretty baggy fit but it still looks good, I was hesitant at first but once I wore it I loved it. it's very warm and the wool nice and soft. Overall I love it, and my wife steals it from me constantly

I love this LL Bean Ragg Wool Sweater. I knew I would. Have had several over ther years. They last forever, of course. This sweater is roomy, soft, hefty, warm and great looking. Everything you want and expect from LL Bean.

Superior Cardigan to other wool cardigans that I have purchased from high end retailers. Nice weight and cut. I purchased a Large and it fit perfectly in the chest. This is honestly the first Large cardigan that didn't seem like a dress. This doesn't hang far below the waist as a couple of others that I purchased elsewhere do.

This is a warm, soft, well-made sweater. My husband has a long torso and arms and the size Large-Tall fits him nicely. He wears it every evening and all weekend.
