Absolutely my favorite sweater! I still have my grandfather's ancient ragg wool sweater from the 60s, which I've held up as the pinnacle of Bean quality since he gave it to me. The quality of this shawl collar cardigan exceeds that of Grandpa's sweater, no question. It's almost, dare I say it, too warm of a sweater. Very happy camper here.

This Ragg Wool sweater is exactly what I hoped for when I ordered it. It fits me, it looks good, and it helps keep me warm. I am therefore pleased with it.

It looks like it was cropped a little short in length and an Extra large was too big and a large too small so I ordered a large tall and it fit perfect and was longer in length as were the arms but a single roll which looked natural worked as well. The grey is much much darker than in the picture. Had to send that back and went with the burgundy. very happy for the price as well.

I needed a warm , wool cardigan and thought I might find one at my nearest LL Bean store. I was very disappointed that they had none in store, but the customer service so good that I thought I'd stick with Bean and try the catalog whereI found the perfect sweater for my rather large frame. Fits perfect! XXL tall was perfect length. Being 6'3, sweaters never fit w length and this was perfect. Well done. Super comfy and warm. Love it

A classic that is sure to last for years. I am 5' 10" 180 lbs/Size 44 and bought a size large regular. It's loose throughout the body but fits my shoulders. The length reaches the bottom of the pockets of my Levi's. I leave the bottom button undone because of it. I'm very happy with the fit but it's far from fitted. It's the ideal warmth for wearing around a somewhat cool house. It's very warm under a coat. The craftsmanship is excellent. I liked this cardigan so much that I bought a second one in a different color!

Great sweater!!! Great for stepping out in single digit temperatures to take the dog out or getting the mail. Can wear it inside without getting overheated. Love my sweater.

I'm 6-0 and 230. I ordered the tall because I had looked at a lot of shawl cardigans and wanted a longer fit than what most brands were showing on their ads. The feel of this is old-school wool -- heavy, slightly scratchy and luxurious, just what I was looking for. I wear it for going out and keeping comfortable between the car and the bar, and even in the house on cold mornings. I'd like elbow patches and leather trimmed buttons, but at this price you can't have everything. Great product.

Perfect fit, classy look. Some reviewers felt this sweater was not warm enough. It is warm for inside wear. It's not going to keep you warm outside on a chilly windy day, nor would I expect it to.

Saw the organic cotton version in a recent catalog but found the 100% wool version in our local store today. With 4"-6" of snow forecast tomorrow for southeast VA - figured the timing was perfect. Got it home -put it on - sitting by a fire with a glass of bourbon - dogs at my feet and figured it doesn't get much better than this!
